Ocean and garden view 2Br 2Ba condo across from Poipu Beach in Kauai, Hawaii. Some of the best and safest swimming, snorkeling, surfing, and boogie boarding on the island. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

This is unit #809 in the #8 building . You will have a fully furnished kitchen, cable TV, wireless internet, washer/dryer, twin beds in second bedroom (can convert to king).

Air conditioning throughout. You will also have an oceanside swimming pool, and tennis/pickle ball court and two bar-b-que areas. Beach towels, umbrellas, cooler, and chairs are provided.

Each bedroom has its own lanai, bathroom, and lanai. This condo is fully furnished and has beautiful island decor.

What really makes this beautiful condo stand out is its ease of access. Located at the top of the hill, simply drive up, park, walk down 4 steps, go to the door and step in. Most condos use parking lots away from the units and require a flight of stairs to get the same ocean view! Also, this is a single level unit -no up and down stairs to beds or bath!

You are a very short beautiful walk to the pool, tennis courts, bar-b-que area, and turtle watching in the ocean!

Our stay here was lovely. We enjoyed the stay.

Our stay was beautiful, the Condo was clean and the view and surroundings including the pool quite lovely, fabulous really. The fans and windows kept the air comfortable. It was quiet and very well kept. Had a bit of trouble with the shower knob as it was hard to push in and out. This did not interfere with our impression of our stay. Especially the convenience of the parking. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a great time in Poipu staying at this condo! It was reasonably priced and had everything we needed for a great vacation. The view of the ocean eating dinner on the lanai was wonderful. I would love to stay again! (The only thing that would make it even better is an updated snorkel because the current one leaked). Thank you so much Don for a wonderful home base to enjoy Kauai!

It's "ok"

We recently stayed at this property and there are good and not so good things. First the positive. The size of the property is huge. Both bedrooms and living area are large. It was nice that both bedrooms had portable a/c units. The kitchen had all the needed items to prepare a home meal. The view from the property is good and you can see sunsets and the ocean clearly. Also, my son enjoyed the bodyboard provided. Now the not so good. The first hour we were at the condo the guest bathroom toilet clogged. Given that there is a plunger and the toilet is held up by a wooden board one can assume it was not an unusual occurrence. I contacted the property manager as listed in the instructions and received a text the next day saying someone would look at it. Guess what? NO ONE EVER CAME. The toilet was clogged for three days until it finally flushed on it's own. Next, the neighbor who is a full time owner went out of her way to harass my son about putting on sunscreen OUTSIDE on the sidewalk because she didn't like it. She also proceeded to tell us where to walk and what we needed to do and not do. I know that being an owner by an rental can be problematic but it wasn't comfortable trying to make sure you didn't make her mad. In addition there are signs on both lanais saying not to talk to loud or talk on the phone outside. Overall, it wasn't a very inviting place to unwind. The property is dated and although it has the two ac portable unit they never really did the trick. Overall, I would choose a different property to stay at if I were to come to Poipu again.

We loved the condo and the location! The contact and owner were very responsive when I let them know the air conditioner was making noise and had someone come to repair it the same day. Loved being able to walk through the beautiful complex down to the beach. The only negative was trying to find the unit the first night in the dark because the iPhone navigation says “arrived” when you are nowhere near building 8 and in the dark you can’t tell where you are or see any building numbers.

Lovely spot

Very spacious condo in pretty, quiet complex a few blocks walk from beaches. Bit of a hill to get back! Nice view, a little dated inside but everything you need. However, a new coffeemaker, clock and a spray of WD-40 on the patio door would be useful! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Clean and great A/C

We stayed a couple of nights in July to be closer to Waimea Canyon. The unit is easy to access, just a few steps down from the parking lot. But the back of the unit is elevated, affording great views. There’s great ventilation- possible to have ocean breezes through the living area during the day. We used A/C at night and it was great, too. We were able to cook as needed. The unit was a little hard to find based on instructions because we arrived after dark. It would be clearer to say “Go to the end of Nalo Rd and park upon entering the lot.”

Great view from living room and master bedroom lanai

Air conditioning worked great! Older unit and met all our needs. Walking distance to Poipu Beach. We walked down for shave ice every day! There are steps down from parking lot and step up into condo! Although with help, my 93 year old mom made it down steps and up into unit. She spent most of her morning in sun on lanai off her bedroom and then transitioned to large lanai in afternoon and evening. Kitchen is well supplied and bathrooms off both bedrooms were nice. Plenty of room for 4.

Everything you need.

Fantastic property, just a few minutes walk to the beach. The place was very clean and the AC was appreciated as many places on Kauai still don’t have it. Everything about our unit was as advertised, which made for a very pleasant, trouble free stay. This is one of the better equipped properties in which we have recently stayed. Towels, beach chairs, cooler, golf clubs, and the kitchen had everything we could want and more. The photos don’t do the unit justice as the bedrooms are very spacious and the lanai for each bedroom is an awesome bonus. If you choose, you can watch the gorgeous Poipu sunset from your lanai, or stroll down and enjoy it with others who gather at the beach every evening to share the beauty. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this unit to a friend or family member. Thanks to the hosts for a great stay!

Got off to rocky start but owner was responsive which was gradifying. I shared a few suggestions with him which he seem to appreciate. The condo grounds were beautiful. Overall we had a great trip.

Nice view, quiet complex

Nice lanai with great view, quiet complex, large rooms and bathrooms. Washer and dryer are a plus and a/c is good in bedrooms only. It sits up high so the afternoon sun beats down on the living room and bedroom facing West making it very warm in those areas, and you don’t get much of a cross breeze. I think better, updated window coverings would help.

Great Poipu condo with excellent view

This condo has an amazing ocean view and an excellent location within the complex. Parking is right at the front door; no steps to climb with groceries, luggage, etc. or lengthy walk to get to your vehicle. Great wireless and tv service. Very good communication with condo owner.
