Fabulous condo, with a truly paradise surroundings.

The condo is fabulous with plenty of room. Completely stocked with everything you might need. Plenty of towels. The lanai was so nice to sit out on. The resort is amazing a true tropical paradise. Beautiful bubbling creek with fish and frogs. Amazing flowering plants thru out. Quiet and secluded. Pool is very nice and quiet. Highly recommend.

Don't stay here if you like sleeping

I strongly recommend you find somewhere else. I didn't sleep more than a few hours every night. What the listing fails to mention is that there is a nearby seal colony (like a couple of blocks away) and one or two of those seals bark and bellow all night every night. I was woken as early as 2:30 am and no later than 4 am every day. To add to the issue, there was a sprinkler motor that came on every morning at 4:30, making a loud, high-pitched screeching noise. I was exhausted the entire time I was there and my vacation was ruined.

Tropical paradise

Loved the layout and decor of the condo with lush, well-maintained gardens. It’s not on the beach and you can’t hear the ocean but the bird sounds, water flowing from the stream and beautiful mature landscaping more than made up for it. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Poipu condo

The property you can tell is old, needs some updating. But in good condition overall. The one thing I would warn anyone about, is if you want to have a comfortable temp inside unit this is not for you. We assumed that the unit would have air conditioning but nope. Can’t really relax when you just sit and sweat non stop, I can’t sleep while I’m sweating. It ruined what would have been a nice soaking or jet tub, but didn’t utilize that because who wants to get in a nice warm tub while sweating profusely. Everywhere else we’ve stayed on various islands all have air con, except this one. Nice unit otherwise, does need updating (stained carpet, stained butcher block island countertop, it should be oiled but it is dry and stains easily. I “ANY” food crumb is not cleaned up the ants will swarm so be aware to keep things spotless. Beds were comfortable.

Nice location

Pros: I like that this property was so close to the beach and shopping. Lots of room and the beds are nice. Cons: I feel like this property needs a little attention. Stains on carpet, screens need fixing, beach amenities like chairs and umbrella are old and broken. Possibly update the tv? After a long day at the beach trying to put a show on for the kiddo and struggled with getting connected on the tv/internet. One little thing to note, the frogs are LOUD at night. I know its Hawaii and the setting is amidst the jungle but just a heads up to guests staying. Overall, a decent property but feel like a few little things could make it ever better.

Enjoyed staying

The hosts were in regular communication throughout. The property was pleasant, well stocked, and in a very good location close to Poipu Beach and the main mall on the south part of the island. The property is pleasantly appointed and the grounds are lush green, giving a very tropical feel. Loved the balcony seating/dining area. The only thing to keep in mind would be that it has no AC. For us, it was not a problem (daytime temp was 82F) as there was a cool breeze all day if you left the windows open. But it does mean that you hear the birds, frogs, etc., from the very early morning if that bothers you. We would be pleased to stay here again.

Nice spot

Enjoyed the view of the water. Lovely pool and we were walking distance to the beach. Unfortunately there was construction work going on next door all day every day that the management had no control over so we couldn’t spend much time in the unit which forced us to play tourist and stay away more than we would have wanted.

Beautiful Spacious Condo with Vaulted Ceilings and Lush Surroundings

This a private and lovely space to stay. We enjoyed preparing meals in the spacious kitchen and eating breakfast out on the patio. It is conveniently located near Poipu Beach where you can swim, boogie board, surf, snorkel, and scuba dive or just watch the sunset. Many stores and restaurants nearby as well. Be prepared to be awakened by the sounds of the rainforest each early morning, from roosters to bullfrogs, and a choir of bird sounds.

Our trip to Poipu Beach

This was a beautiful property. That location was perfect, close to the beach and shopping. It had everything we needed for a wonderful stay on the island. Would definitely stay again when we come back. We have stayed at several places on the island and this was one of the best.

Amazingly Appointed!

I've never stayed anywhere else that had such attention to details with regards to the appointments in the home. It has everything you might want, except Air Conditioning. It gets very warm in the unit on hot days. It does have excellent ventilation, ceiling fans everywhere you need them and extra fans to set about the home. The WI-FI was temperamental and our only real issue. It would go in and out. We had a term paper to work on and it cut out often enough that we couldn't do it when we had time. Had to re-set the router, etc., but once that didn't even work. The WI-FI is located in the unit, but has a weak signal in the downstairs bedroom even when connected. Neighboring unit signals were much stronger. Don't count on WI-FI for school or work if needed until it is upgraded by the owners. I do highly recommend the unit regardless of this one detail! It is very nice!

Excellent home

This condo was such a blessing to me and my son. It had everything we needed for the comforts of home. It had every supply needed for a day at the beach, nice supplies, not rusty stuff, but brand new gear. The hair supplies and hand soap/shower soap where huge bottles. The beds were very comfy. Lots of windows and ceiling fans that kept the place cool. We didn’t have to use air conditioning because it was nice and the air circulated well. The deck was amazing! Overlooking a mature and gorgeous garden of trees and flowers and water streams landscaping. The sounds of nature resonates throughout this property! Just amazing! Thank you for allowing us to live here during our vacation in Kaua’i. Sure did beat staying at a hotel. Kathy and Adam

Well appointed for my chef husband! Very neat and well-maintained. Love the recycling.

Grateful they have good recycling and the frogs, toads, koi, hens and roosters were all lovely. Birds woke us each morning....
