The Hostel was extremely nice, clean, and friendly.
Apple Hostel is inside the famous Chungking Mansions, which is a crazy but interesting place. You have to take an elevator to get in and out of the hostel.
The room itself was very clean though small, and the staff was very nice. They provided clean towels and toothbrushes every day, with soap/shampoo available in the bathroom. You'll have to bring your own conditioner if you want it. The hot water might be difficult to work out if you don't have experience with turning the hot water off/on before/after your shower in similar facilities. The elevator line was not a big issue for our group except for when we arrived and left with our luggage, as we took up more space in the elevator. It took us about half an hour to get four people with one suitcase each out of our hostel around 9am on our final morning. On a normal day with no luggage, we waited no more than 10 minutes going up or down. Though the building itself and the general facilities are a bit rundown, the low price for what we got was reasonable. The air conditioner worked well, but we were visiting in March, so the weather wasn't too hot. There are a lot of salespeople and crowds at the ground floor shopping area, though they weren't too loud or pushy. Proximity to public transport was convenient, and it was easy to walk to closer attractions like the art museum and Avenue of Stars. If you're on a budget and will be spending most of your time outside of the room anyway, this is a good place to stay.
The location of this Guest House is unbeatable, just a 2-minute walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. The room was compact but very clean and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped us with directions to nearby restaurants and attractions. Perfect for travelers looking for convenience and affordability!
Other than location, there is nothing to give credit.
Can not check in until 4pm
The room is not clean, with hairs on the floor,
The worst was the elevator broke and I had to climb the scary stairs to the 10th floor.
I had 2 days left but was happy to check out
personally, i enjoyed my stay. my room was clean and bathroom was decently clean as well. the bed is comfortable. the price is not expensive. downside is sometimes the elevator takes a long time, recommend taking the stairs sometimes. Not recommend for solo female travelers. a lot of indian scammers on first floor

Property eas close to MTR but area was not the most suited for family
One of the worst stays ever.
The photos presented here are completely misleading as the place is now very rundown. Chunking Mansions, the buidling where the hostel is is a place to be missed at all costs. The shower head is directly above the toilet bowl. The air con directly abive the bed. Cockroaches, elevator system which's a joke, smelly, stinky, with people carrying large leaky bin bags on it...
The reception team at the hostel are nice and do their best. But overall, the price x what you get/experience is a thing to be missed for sure. Be advised.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
