This ground floor upscale contemporary apartment offers 1850 square feet of luxery living direct on the Caribbean Sea in the quiet neighborhood '' Belnem ', Bonaire, Dutch Caribbean. This hidden piece of paradise offers you a panoramic ocean view, private ocean entry where you can snorkeling or dive right to the coral reefs behind the home, or watch the beautiful sunsets, the view of the island ''Klein Bonaire'' from its backyard patio/sundeck.

The apartment offers ground floor living, cool breeze troughout the whole apartment along with sliding glass doors and shutter windows, and all screened four your convenience.
Two large air-conditioned master bedrooms make sleeping comfortable. Each bedroom boasts a full, private, Italian style bathroom with double sinks and shower. One bedroom has the additional feature of an bathtub.
Located directly on the water with easy access with a comfortable ladder to the Caribbean sea, the property is surrounded by palm and coconut trees.

Rinse tanks and dive gear locker are available for the divers.

Location

Greta place just South of airport. Close to all the Dive sites south of airport. Host was awesome had a little welcome gift in the fridge. Construction next door was a non-issue. We will stay here again

Just as pictured

Had a little hiccup upon the arrival, but Nicole was very responsive. I was familiar with the neighborhood from a previous trip, so I was able to find the property. This is the second time I have booked with Nicole. The property is amazing. During our stay, there was construction on the house next door, but they start and stop at reasonable hours. The location is conveniently close to the airport, but don't worry...the airport traffic is not a nuisance. You have everything you need at this property, except washcloths. If you use them...bring them. We were greeted with a cold beer and a snack waiting for us which was a nice touch since our flights were delayed and no food was available for purchase on the plane. The ceiling fans were also a nice touch in the home. We will be booking this again.

Amazing location, nice place, great property manager

Nothing beats a ladder into the ocean with a beautiful reef just off shore. The unit is very comfortable, with a nice workable kitchen, and Nicole is always nice to work with checking in.

great location

We had a great time staying here. The location is great, near the airport, and great snorkeling spots. The only downside was the construction happening next door was a little loud at times during the day. But we were out and about most days, so it was ok.

Ocean View!

The porch, kitchen, beds and bathrooms all met our needs. It is a delightful spot. Some plumbing needs attention- drippy faucets, and electrical not working - but that is not a deal breaker for vacation in Bonaire! The construction next door was not a problem for us. The manager was responsive and helpful!

The perfect place to relax

Casa Iguana really is a wonderful place. It had everything we needed for the most part.Pros:Fully equipped houseMore quiet than in town, but still closeDeck off the back for dining/relaxingWater access for snorkelingBuddy Dive next door is extremely convenient for booking snorkel or dive classes/excursions and renting equipment.Cons:The construction next door is loud during the day. If you're gone most of the day, this isn't an issue. But if you want to hang out on the deck this can really put a damper on your mellow vibe. It's very quiet otherwise outside of the construction workday. It's not a deal breaker, but definitely something to consider.The bedrooms have only AC and not fans. I have difficulty sleeping with AC, so Martin came over and found me fan to use instead. A ceiling fan or multiple fans would be better. All the other rooms and the patio have ceiling fans. If AC doesn't bother you, then this would be a non-issue. Overall, I would definitely recommend this location.

Beautiful Bonaire property

We stayed March 30 - April 6, 2024. Property was exactly as pictured. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. WIFI worked great. Five minutes from airport. Very close to dive sites like Salt Pier, Alice in Wonderland, Hilma Hooker, etc. (2 - 5 minutes down road). Rinse tanks were very nice with a private locker for gear. They provide a key for the lock, so no nee to bring your own lock. Also places on patio to hang gear in sun to dry. The view cannot be beat from the property. All the dishes you need. Plenty of towels for diving, so no need to bring any. Very nice to have a dishwasher and washer. We were met at property upon check-in. Everything went very smoothly. We had one question about check-out procedure, and sent message which during stay which was answered promptly. I'd definitely stay here again!!!

Diving in your backyard!

Great stay for a diving trip! Reef behind the appartment is great during the day and at night. Gear can be rinsed and stored on location. Kitchen utensils all there also a BBQ. Will surely book again!

A true gem!

We felt truly lucky, indeed, to be able to stay at Casa Iguana on our third visit to Bonaire. The deck, view and reef with private ladder water entry were fantastic. Indoors was quite spacious and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped for cooking at-home meals which was especially handy with so many restaurants already at capacity. We made great use of the charcoal grill as well. The rinse tanks and secure lockers provided for stowing dive gear were particularly handy in the parking area. There were nice folks renting upstairs and sharing the deck was never a problem. Definitely recommend!

A luxury spacious apartment on the water

We really enjoyed our stay at thIs large 2 bedroomed apartment. More like a villa. Also during our 2 weeks the upstairs was empty, so we had the whole property to ourselves. The property is at a central location to town and the south. It is right on the sea where we swam every day and enjoyed the stunning sunsets. We enjoyed the bbq facility . Our host Rudi was fantastic, any hitches were immediately dealt with. our first groceries were waiting for us on arrival, what a treat. My only wish is that I could have stayed longer :-)

Magnifique!!!

Nous recommandons fortement cette propriété. Elle est superbe et tout y est. La maison est près de l’aéroports mais un peu au sud, donc plus tranquille comme secteur. Rudi était facilement joignable dès la réservation et il nous attendait à la maison à notre arrivée. Nous allons assurément revenir avec nos enfants. Coup de cœur assuré et hôte génial! Exactly what we wanted and more!!!!

For my wife and I, this place was perfect. First off, the view off of the deck is simply stunning.....be sure to catch every sunset! The house was very nicely appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and all the necessary pots/pans/appliances are there to make cooking a breeze. Rudi (the home's caretaker) was waiting to pick us up and then delivered us back to the airport in a timely fashion. You simply cannot go wrong with renting this home, it is wonderful in every sense of the word. In addition, the owner (Joyce) is a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable about Bonaire....so if you need any coaching or advice, she is more than willing to lend a hand. I would most certainly rent this lower home again.....I miss it already!!!

Best vacation.

Everything we need was provided and the house was perfect. View was amazing as pictured and the video. Rudi and Jennifer were very responsive. Be aware you are sharing the view and deck with people upstairs. Only thing there was a cat(me, not an animal person) that was a daily annoyance that apparently everyone feeds. Annoying when your trying to eat outside and its begging for food. Daily. My wife(who is an animal person was even annoyed) and unfortunately I forgot to bring it up to rudi. We stayed for 2 weeks which was enjoyable and will definitely stay there again. Even made friends with the couple above us! highly recommend and we are booking this place again.

Home on the Water

This property felt more like a residence than an apartment. Great views from deck. Comfortable living quarters. We love the location. It's an easy distance from town but away from the crowds when the cruise ships arrive. Updating the lounge chairs would be an improvement as would ceiling fans in the bedrooms.

Divers Paradise!

Rudi made the check in process very easy through email and met us at the property to let us in and give us a rundown of the place. The outdoor area is spectacular for sunsets! We had everything we needed during our stay. Be sure to shut the gate at night or you may have donkey visitor in your driveway. There is also a very cool cat that visits during your stay. We named her Sammy. There were bowls outside with water and past guests had fed her so we did the same. She just naps all day on the chairs and has a lot to say when you see her. We left a new bag of food behind for the next guests. :) We were very happy with our whole experience at Casa Iguana and will be coming back again!

Heerlijk Huis!

Casa Iguana is een ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien huis. In dit huis gaat het je echt aan niets ontbreken. De bedden zijn fantastisch, iets wat wij erg belangrijk vinden. Het huis ligt aan het water dus het uitzicht is prachtig. Er is een trap naar het water zodat je vanaf je eigen terras kan zwemmen, snorkelen of duiken. Het huis is ook lekker koel omdat er altijd wel iets zeewind staat. De caretakers zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en helpen je waar ze kunnen. Het enige kleine minpuntje is de duikschool die naast het huis zit. Wij hadden een week een iets luidruchtige groep naast ons. Dit is echter te verwaardelozen bij alle grote pluspunten die het huis heeft. Wij gaan zeker weer boeken !!!
