The "Galerie" holiday flat is located in the renovated outbuilding of the farm. It dates back to 1889 and was used as a hayloft. Just a short walk and you have a view over the Baltic Sea or are in the forest.
The quietly located holiday flat is on the first floor in an outbuilding of the farm. In the past it was used as a fish smokehouse and hayloft, later as a gallery. The flat has a separate entrance. The spacious, sunny living area of 43 m² has a cosy TV and reading corner as well as a well-equipped kitchenette with dining table and a double bed (160 x 200), which can be separated by a curtain. A separate bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed (90 x 200). This is only suitable for two children! A modern bathroom with WC and shower is of course available. The rooms are furnished with wooden furniture in Scandinavian style. The flat was lovingly converted into a cosy holiday flat for two to four guests in 2015/16.
In the spacious courtyard, seating areas invite you to relax. The rustic seating area in the garden also offers the opportunity to use a barbecue and there is a car park for guests' cars on the property.
Just a short walk through the fishing village of Spandowerhagen - and you're already at the water's edge and have a marvellous view over the sea! Usedom is close enough to touch, but the islands of Rügen, Ruden and Greifswalder Oie are not to be overlooked either. The village is surrounded by meadows and forests. It offers guests interesting excursions by bike, on foot or on horseback. The proximity of the water tempts you to go on boat trips, sailing, surfing, fishing - and of course swimming. The island of Usedom can be reached by car or the passenger and bicycle ferry from Freest in just under 30 minutes. Extensive information material is available for individual excursions. In the immediate vicinity, the fishing village of Freest and the seaside resort of Lubmin invite you to take a stroll. Wolgast, once the seat of Pomeranian dukes, the seaside resorts on the island of Usedom and, of course, the Hanseatic and university town of Greifswald offer a wide range of cultural highlights. However, smaller towns also attract visitors with exhibitions, galleries, concerts and more. Culinary delights are particularly popular with fish lovers in our region. Beach.... The nearest beach is approx. 500 metres from the farm. Larger beaches are located in Freest (2 km) or in the seaside resort of Lubmin (6 km). Island of Usedom - Baltic seaside resorts Zinnowitz, Karlshagen, Trassenheide (25 km) by car approx. 30 min.
We are happy to provide a travelling cot and high chair on request. We are happy to hire out kayaks and canoes to our house guests.
