The hotel is catered for the Indian cohort and western food is optional. The stair cases are very slippery and I slipped down a staircase and the hotel placed towels at the top and bottom of the staircase to mitigate the safety issue. The hotel is surrounded by Indian restaurants and the local beach is a toilet so there is no swimming there. We found the staff great and the pool was always quiet as nobody was in it but us.

The staff were always smiling and helpful. The breakfast was delicious each morning and the room was very comfortable. I would suggest that given OH&S standards, a canopy over the small paddling pool is needed for sun protection, especially children.

Buffet breakfast was nice, lots of variety. The outdoor pool and lounger area was great and clean. Unfortunately our room was damp and dingy, and the bidet hose water smelt like sewage. We also woke up The cocktails werent very tasty & the welcome drink was a shot glass size of juice. We did call the front desk to confirm that our room was correct as it seemed very different to the online pictures.

second stay at the Risata Hotel , 200 yards to the beach where there are a good number of local beach bars selling food and drink, Indian restaurant on site which is not expensive , good selection for breakfast along with a good menu in the restaurant for lunch and dinner

First the positives -- the staff are super nice, my room was excellent (comfortable, spacious, and clean!). Great access to the airport and breakfast had tonnes of options! A really nice stay. Gym needs a bit of a touch up -- and unfortunately Kuta has suffered a bit since the return from lockdown. But, I'd stay here again -- and the staff were really nice and helpful!

Staff were amazing - every single one of them! Food was great and service was prompt. Nothing ever too much trouble. The rooms weren’t over fancy but had everything we required ( more clothes storage than our next , more expensive fancier hotel!) Will definitely stay here again when back in Bali! Pros: the grounds of the hotel are amazing, so well kept with beautiful gardens. All the staff were so lovely & always helpful too! The beds were very comfortable & the airconditioners were cold. Cons: the rooms are old and need some love. The overwhelming smell of mould/mildew was alarming & probably the only reason I wouldn’t return again.
