Gorgeous hotel, the onsens are excellent, rooms traditional and small but lovely, and staff very helpful. The drinks in the lobby were lovely. Overall an excellent stay, good location, and would highly recommend!

Amazing spot! Did not want to leave. The rooms were immaculate and the perfect amount of space. The location was so central, you really could not beat it. It really made getting all around Kyoto easy. Rooftop views were stunning. Onsen was great. Would highly recommend booking this spot.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Perfect Stay in Kyoto! Absolutely loved our stay at Soraniwa! The hotel was perfect for experiencing authentic Kyoto. The onsen was wonderfully relaxing after a busy day exploring, and the breakfast was delicious, especially enjoyed upstairs on the terrace with beautiful views over Kyoto. The location is fantastic, with shopping, restaurants and transport all on your doorstep. The staff were amazing, and the complimentary coffee, drinks and popsicles throughout the day were such a lovely touch. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. Would return in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

The location was absolutely perfect for being in the centre of the action. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The free coffee and water was a huge bonus. The Onsen is gorgeous as well! There is also a rooftop bar where they offer one free drink per night and a footbath. What a luxurious and amazing stay!

First time traveling to Kyoto (and Japan) & we felt like we struck gold. The location couldn’t have been better. The onsen was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredible friendly & helpful. 100/10. If you’re thinking about staying in Kyoto, you should stay here. The room was small but perfectly big enough for us + 3 suitcases. They have larger rooms than what we booked as well.

This hotel is located right next to the old town. The room was quiet and very clean. Free coffee, soft drinks and snacks were a nice touch to begin your day. The onsen was absolutely fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is so pretty, the service so kind. I would love to stay there again for longer time. Also after check out and moving to another city I found out I miss one ring (it fall under bed, my mistake) I contact the hotel and they were able to found it and shipped to my new hotel in a Tokio. I’m surprised and so thankful

What makes this hotel special is how amazing the staff is. From check-in to check-out, I am very much impressed how accomodating, kind and helpful they are. They always have smiles on their faces and always willing to help out. The hotel is located strategically to all the tourist spots. The amenities especially the onsen is great! I will definitely go back to this hotel. Thank you to the amazing staff!

We love this Japanese themed hotel. The location is cental and the level of services we have received were fantastic. We would select this hotel if we come to Kyoto again in the future. The hot spring with the rooftop view is also a highlight for the stay.It is an amazing experience.

Absolutely loved this place. The awesome friendly staff, the beautiful room, the comfy bed, the location, and the onsen. They alternate the onsen and when it's your turn for the night time view it's amazing! Also has a roof top bar to enjoy the view even more. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This is our second stay as we stayed in the same room as we did last summer, coincidence but interesting how they assign rooms. Location is great to walk to everywhere, and take subways, taxis are just outside by the entrance all the time. Room is tiny but has everything. Tickets for one free drink daily per person but it is always busy on the rooftop. We used once, breakfast is authentic Japanese style.

This was one of our first hotels in our visit to Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo. It was incredible and felt like a luxury boutique hotel from the moment we arrived. The location is superb and the amenities are incredible. We were truly spoiled, and felt let down by all of the other properties we stayed at after this one. Highly recommend!
