"We recently stayed at Estrellas de Gredos and were really disappointed. The place has stunning mountain views and a traditional curved ceiling, but a lot of things went wrong. The biggest issue was a broken sliding door that wouldn’t lock. "The room was lovely although small for a superior. There was no free bottle of water or tea/coffee making equipment which is the normal for a Parador. The staff did provide these after we asked for them. Bed was very comfortable, bar staff were very nice although service a little slow. Food was delicious in the restaurant. The building was beautiful with very pleasing decorations. Would recommend this area especially for the gorge swimming areas."

"Really enjoyed the time and we'll be back. Not sure what was going on with their housekeeping staff. First day we had to ask the desk to have the room cleaned after being gone all day and coming back to a dirty room. They apologized and sent someone up. Then the second day, they came through but forgot some of the towels, left very little toilet paper for the second day in a row. Again, we had to contact the desk. Could be that they were using extra summer staff who didn't know the routine. However, in both cases, they apologized and immediately fixed the situation. We will go back when we can. It's worth it. Beautiful location, nice pool, great place during a hot summer day."

"The hostal is very comfortable & clean. We were welcomed by the gentlemen who staffs the hostal, he was very helpful & made us feel very welcome. The beds are very comfortable. We had a balcony with a lovely view of the mountains. I would recommend the hostal, we hope to make a return visit in the future."
