What a beautiful property & amazing hosts. Sally & Tony were so welcoming & showed us around their beautiful property, letting the kids pat & feed all the animals. The house was lovely, clean & had everything you could possibly need. We had the best weekend away & will definitely be back, would highly recommend to anyone.
Great place for a very comfortable family holiday. The house was perfect for a family gathering and the courtyard perfect for kids to enjoy themselves. Meeting the farm animals added to the overall farm stay experience. The extensive gardens surrounding the house were very pleasant as were walks around the property. Sally was very welcoming. Highly recommended!
Our three boys under 7 had the best time at Sally and Tony’s farm last weekend. The big ones keep asking when we are going back and the little one is wearing wellies back here in Rozelle Sydney. We loved the big clean comfortable house with the springy carpet, the fire, the bedrooms with french doors, the awesome huge internal courtyard with all the kid cars and bikes, and the fact basic stuff like high chairs, spare boots, hair dryers, extra quilts were on hand and didnt need to be carted down. We also liked that the guest house wasnt too close to the owner’s house (its about 500m over a hill to Sally and Tony’s place) so we didnt feel we had to tell the kids to be quiet all weekend. Outside, the grounds are beautiful with mature trees and landscaping around the home, the then the farm and animals spread out in all directions. We were so lucky - we were able to feed lambs, hold baby guinnea pigs, check for eggs and feed ponies as well as visit the great working sheering shed straight out of an old Australian novel. Sally and Tony are super laid back hosts but also really happy to explain and show stuff to people interested in how modern farms work. They were genuinely unfazed by our guys climbing and messing up their woodpile or whacking each other with sticks. The surrounding district is gorgeous with little villages, good pubs and good food. Best of all for city-folk, the air is clean and the nights are dark and quiet. Great break. Huge thank you. Solaire and Adam
