"Simone's farm was very lovely that we stayed an extra day to relax after my daughter's wedding. Very tastefully designed and definitely recommend families and couples to stay at the farm very close to New Paltz and hiking area. "The hosts were very nice people and helped us immediately with issues we faced. The property is beautiful and serene. We saw deer munching fallen pears from the tree by the pool. Deducting a star for a few things:1/ Heated pool - one of the reasons we specifically booked this place was because a heated pool was advertised. We didn’t feel the pool was properly heating and the water was chilly even in the middle of the day.2/ Lack of lights in the property - there’s no lighting at all by the pool area which means you can’t use the pool area after sundown.3/ Lack of some basic supplies - the listing fell short on accommodating some basic supplies like body wash, shampoo. Kitchen didn’t have a can opener, any cooking medium etcAnother note - the hosts stay on the property. Mentioning this in case privacy is a concern for some. The plus side is someone is always on site to help with issues."

"We enjoyed our stay and used the large kitchen often. The location is great for hiking. The house is very close to the gated entrance so not super private from drivers and walkers. Beautiful wooded area behind the home with other rentals. Surprised there is not wood provided but we made it work. Katie showed us some of the other rentals. Note the shower has a strong sulfur smell from the natural water source, it’s intense for a shower."

"Very peaceful, had the most lovely morning with light streaming in the windows reading a book and slowly starting my day. Just stayed one night but it really helped me relax. the sauna was wonderful, loved the fire pit (bring your own wood and fire starter) and the kitchen and living room were so cute. Bed was comfy, and I was quite at peace. Will be back if I'm in the area again."

"The stay was truly memorable and special. You are really able to enjoy the nature around you outside, and the inside is also really interesting and unique (with lots of great history you will find!). We usually rotate houses every year for this annual trip we do, but if this place is available next year, we are 100% booking this place again. Unforgettable experience!"

"Our stay was amazing! The property is exactly like the pictures, very comfortable and excellent location close to the lake. Nice trails and walking routes to do around the area. Perfect for a family and friends stay. We stayed with our dog and he had an amazing time as well. Communication with host was smooth and attentive. I recommend for a nice and tranquil stay."
