The host was very attentive, well structured, and informative. The whole experience for us was above and beyond any hotel stay. Also the atmosphere of the owners and other guests was friendly and inviting. We would most definitely choose this establishment as our stay if we happen to be traveling in the area. Next time though, maybe two nights would be better…

Enjoyed our weekend at the Mansion. The Presidential suite was lovely, as was the view. Sunrise on the lake was amazing. Also appreciated the sturdy bed frame which was great for Shibari. The only improvements I would offer is to have coffee in the private suite and less air freshener throughout.

This was a great place to stay. It was quiet and very comfortable. Jessica, checked us in she was very helpful and actively looked for ways to improve our stay. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place in the Lake Stevens area

GREAT time!

My sister and I stayed in the "superior" room which had a great view of the lake. We spent some time on the porch and in the sitting room making fairy hair and it was so comfortable and peaceful. Our host was INSANELY Friendly and had breakfast ready and was willing to work with our early schedule. HIGHLY recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the area. Great prices and lovely location.

The property was very peaceful and absolutely gorgeous, the only issue we had was how hot the room was at night. I had to replace the thermostat batteries with the remote batteries just so it would work. 12am it was 80° in our room with the windows fully open and the fans going. But we will be back someday!

Amazing getaway

So, I recently stayed at the mansion in Lake Stevens. What a relaxing two-day vacation. The husband was very nice. He Greeted us at the door. Help carry my bags upstairs since it was the middle of the week, and nobody else was around then. I believe there was one other guest. I never met his wife, but I sent a text message, and she made a quick but filling breakfast in the morning. You have full rain of the mansion minus a few closed doors and a beautiful lake view; I have no complaints. I would go back and stay again!

Seattle vacation

Host was non existent after checking us in. Only contact was via text. Supposed to get cooked breakfast. We did for the first 2 days. The last 2 days were a bagged to go breakfast. Had to bus our table after eating. Definitely not a ,"warm and fuzzy " B&B experience. Location ok, but a little difficult getting back after dark. No street lights. All in all, Just OK

Convenient location and the building was very unique. It was clean. The host was very unprofessional,the food was ok,but was not on time. Did not like having to buss our dishes. My room did not have a bathroom in it,which was very inconvinent. Also no toilet paper in it upon arrival. I was the only guest my first night,so not busy. All in all this property needs to be better managed. It is a quaint home with a lot of potential. It is the only place to stay in Lake Stevens, so should be full all the time.

Everything in my room (202) was old, outdated, and dirty. The carpets are extremely old and stained. The stairs hadn’t been vacuumed for a good long time. The chairs in the room were stained horribly, and the headboard was very dusty. Many furnishings were tacky and cheap, such as a plastic chandelier and dollar store grade fake flowers. I was told I had to stop my plans and check in before eight or incur a $25 charge to check in between eight and 1, annd was informed there is no check in after 10. Breakfast was choice of bagel, granola bars, and some fruit and juice. There was Keurig coffee. Continental breakfast and the check in information was not included in the Expedia listing. Pool has rust stains on bottom and fencing around property is old and broken in many places. This place is an old run down place that needs to upgrade if they want to charge these prices ($253 nt). I stayed at a different hotel later in my trip for $120 that was far superior to this place. I left the property after 10 minutes and went to a different hotel. I was absolutely not comfortable staying in a place that was dirty and rundown as this one was. Perhaps other rooms were better I don’t know. But the room I was given, the stairs leading up to it, and the outdoor features - as explained above - were unacceptable.
