Ginette, Ben, and Sara were amazing hosts! The house and grounds are beautiful and cozy. The bedding, linens, and toiletries were nice quality. Ben serves fresh produce from his garden and prepares delicious breads, jams, waffles, and omelets from scratch. We enjoyed our long weekend exploring the area and appreciated the helpful guidance provided by all. Dinner was also a special treat on Saturday evening. We look forward to returning.
This B&B sits in a 19th century building, has wonderful yard with a pond and above all very friendly and caring hosts, very fancy breakfast (really - much better than in the most of American hotels of the similar price) and sizable good rooms
Lovely heritage house with a lot of character and modern accommodation and amenities. They also organize and cater events in this beautiful setup.
Curtis and Chelsea really made us feel welcome. Hope to visit them again soon.
2 night stay while visiting friends and the area. Cozy B&B. Owner very accommodating and extremely personable as was all the staff. Curtis great breakfast cook. Felt like we were staying at a friends’ home...was so homey and comfortable.
I travel quite a bit for work and can honestly say, I have never been made to feel more welcome, at home, and taken care of than during my stay last week at the Iron Kettle.
Ben is a wonderful host, an excellent chef and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as relaxing and enjoyable as could be. I will definitely be back! :)
Great old house, comfortable room and bed and outstanding breakfast. Perfect get away spot in a small town. Tremendous conversation with our host Ben. Over all A+ experience.
What a gem! Beautiful B&B with a great location to explore souther Ontario. Full of character. Beautifully decorated. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Amazing breakfast. Exceeded all expectations.
The Iron Kettle is a lovely property. The house is beautiful and immaculate, the garden is very pretty to walk around, the staff was more than friendly and wonderful to visit with, and the breakfast was delicious and fresh from the garden.
We stayed 3 nights at the Iron Kettle and enjoyed it very much, especially the wonderfully prepared local food. It was convenient place to stay while visiting Point Pelee National Park. I would definitely go again!
An awesome place to stay with an amazing host. My wife and I decided to actually explore the province that we live in by avoiding the tourist traps and spending some time in towns that are not destinations in themselves. The insights and recommendations of our host helped us immeasurably in guiding us to unbelievable meals in the evenings, and things to see and do through out the area during the day. Thank you so much for helping us find out how really great that part of our province to visit. We will definitely be back again.
We were a late arrival, so we called in just before our arrival to arrange our check-in. The host was super nice, left us clear instructions, and as expected, the room was waiting for us on arrival! They even accommodated our early breakfast! Hospitality was impeccable - highly recommended!
We were there for 3 nights to attend a wedding in the city, so we basically just slept and had breakfast there. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast, which was prepared by the owner was simply delicious! There was a lot of fruit, yogurt, jams and bread to choose from every morning. I will absolutely stay there again if the opportunity arises.
