Excellent friendly host who ensured that we had everything we needed, including recommending and booking a nearby restaurant for us.
Outstanding rooms and breakfast.
Would highly recommend
The Station House is a homely place to stay. The interior is excellent, the couple have worked very hard to get the place looking amazing. A very peaceful and tranquil stay and the owners are friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely stay again when in the area.
Terrific place to stay. Well organised, well run.
Alan was very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful.
There were nice little touches, such as facial wipes, cotton pads and ear buds left out for guests.
We had a lovely breakfast, great accommodation and had a really nice stay.
Room was spotless, very comfortable and modern. Alan was a great host, giving us some great recommendations as well as being very welcoming and cooking us a nice breakfast. If I was in the area again I would happily stay another night.
Beautifully decorated en suite room in a quiet location with easy access from the A70. Good off road parking, flexible check in and wonderful hospitality.
Thank you
Thank you very much Allan and April for your super hospitality and great information.
We wish you all the best with your commitment to quality hosting in a wonderful rural location.
This place it's more than a B&B. It has everything you would expect from a high end hotel but in a cosy property. Alan is a fantastic host and will make you feel like home straight away. The room was impeccable with everything needed and more. And the area is so quiet and peaceful. I'll be coming back and recommend this place to anyone.
What a little gem of a place . Lovely furnishings, comfy bed, great shower . Wonderful hosts. Nothing too much trouble . Fantastic breakfast . Definitely will go back to stay .
This was the perfect end location for our recent vacation. Situated within easy surviving distance of Glasgow and Edinburgh, or beautiful countryside, we were able to customize our activities for each day of our stay. I’d recommend this little gem to anyone (singles, couples, or families) for a great experience and a filling breakfast that will keep you going for a day PACKED full of all the things Scotland has to offer!
The landlord was very welcoming and arranged AND made reservations for us at a nice restaurant by a loch. All was well. Have yet to go down for breakfast but am certain it will be as good as everythingso far.
Perfect!!!
The building has been beautifully and tastefully converted and decorated.
Every amenity that you could want is thoughtfully and kindly provided.
The hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming, we arrived to a glorious log fire and the offer of whisky...we got chatting and had a lovely evening by the fire.
I honestly could not imagine a more comfortable and welcoming place.
We had a wonderful evening stay at The Station House. Alan couldn't be more helpful and hospitable. The accomodation is beautfully decorated and homely. We loved having the lounge available, as we'd had a long day on the motorbikes and having a sofa and TV gave it a real home from home feel. Breakfast was delicious and the room clean and comfortable. We have stayed at 6 B&B's this week and this place was top of the list. Thank you both.
This was my first solo trip. I was greeted with a warm welcome from Alan. The B&B is beautiful. Rooms are of a high standard either everything you would need for your stay, tea & coffee facilities, tv. Cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was of a high standard with so much choice. Arvril made sure I had everything needed.
