This cozy cottage is the perfect place to get away and we would love to be your hosts. It is less than a mile from Rockvale Outlets, Dutch Wonderland and lots of restuarants and also 2 miles from Sight and Sound Theater. And minutes from the Village of Intercourse.
This sparkling clean cottage has 3 bedrooms (one on the main level and 2 upstairs) an 1 bath, a fully equipped kitchen, deck with a gas grill, free wifi also available. Linens and towels are provided. And there will be a fresh loaf of homemade bread and amish peanut butter spread waiting for you!

Perfect Little House for Meeting Up

We met up with family for few nights here and had a wonderful stay. It was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed, including a toys and a high chair for our 1 year olds. The host did great at communicating and the bread and peanut butter were a treat! Giving this 4 out of 5 stars because the overall cleanliness of the place was decent, but could use a good thorough cleaning. We hope to return again for another stay in the future!

Girlfriend Amish weekend

My friends and I spent 3 nites at this cute little cottage. The location is terrific! Everything was spotless. The beds were very comfy, plenty of blankets nice pillows. We loved going back to the house after a hard day of shopping and playing. The cottage is on a main road so there was some traffic we enjoyed hearing and seeing the buggies go by. The traffic noise quiets down at night. The hosts were quick to respond to texts and we even got a delicious loaf of bread and some home made peanut butter. We would stay here again

Perfect for our family girls getaway

It's our fourth/fifth time staying here. It's the perfect location . Close to everything. perfect place to chill in the front yard with a cold beverage or hang out on the deck under an umbrella. We come as part of a girls getaway for the moms and daughters in the family. For thirty plus years my mom and her sisters met in Lancaster for a sisterhood retreat. We lived overseas and far away but my momma would come for it. When one of my Aunts passed we decided to shake it up and try a vrbo instead of a standard hotel. We'll never go back. So much more personal and we love the property. Owner always leaves fresh bread and homemade peanut butter.

Great cozy home

Had a wonderful stay with my wife and 2 year old son. House was very clean, they left us a fresh loaf of bread and homemade peanut butter which is a kind gesture. One small recommendation would be to upgrade the TVs to smart tvs to help entertain the little one for extended period of times since the current setup was a little tricky to figure out (which unfortunately we couldn’t but not a big deal). There were some kids toys to keep him entertained but I’m sure having a smart tv would benefit a lot of people. Would definitely recommend for a stay being at a great location and near lots of things to do.

Not what we expected

Listing said 3 bedrooms. Unless I missed it, it failed to mention that on the 2nd floor, you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other. The air conditioning unit is at the top of the stairway before walking into the bedroom. To cool both rooms, the connecting door must remain open. So if you want privacy in that 3rd bedroom, there is none. The first floor air was on when we arrived, but the second floor air was not. It was sweltering hot. Although this home has tons of potential, it really needs some updating (new carpeting, new bathroom) and a good, thorough cleaning. Lots of soap and mildew buildup in the bathroom. It could use an exterminator as well, particularly in the area of the 2nd floor "closet". Ants, bugs and moths were coming out of it. The location was great as far as the area goes, but it is on a pretty busy street. The hum of the air conditioners cancelled the road noise. In the cooler months, that's probably not the case. The deck in the back provided a nice sitting area in the evening. I really don't like to write a bad review, but I rely on reviews when choosing a place to stay. I did with this one too. The reviews were good (4.9), so I was quite perplexed when we arrived and saw the home. As I said, it has so much potential but really needs some TLC and updates.

Very comfortable and cozy for us. Yes, it is a small house, but 4 people could be comfortable. The bread was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed listening to the "clip-clop" of Amish buggies as they passed by. The yard was a nice size, although we did not use it. Washer and dryer were a bonus, too.
