Avoid 5th floor due to slopped ceiling over the bed and smaller windows. I hit my head at night pretty hard on the slope, but that was the only flaw. Breakfast is great. Would definitely stay here again (just on a lower floor :)."

"Had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Originally a prison, it has been converted into a quirky, comfortable hotel retaining many of the features. The bedrooms were cells, small but well equipped with ensuite bathrooms. The position is slightly outside the centre of Stockholm but all the better. Situated on a lovely peaceful island within walking distance to Gamla Stan and the museums. The breakfast is amazing with an enormous variety of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. Many people note the small rooms - but as expected in a historic building, it is indeed on the smaller side- but charming and cozy which I believe is part of the adventure when traveling Europe. The staff is exceptional. Breakfast has a good variety and a nice way to start the day. I would definitely stay again."
