Room was not all the way clean. The couch had dust/dirty and handprints that had not been cleaned. There was dirt on the floor. Refrigerator was dirty inside. The door to the room had pieces of wood hanging off, the door into the bedroom of the suite also had wood hanging off. There was a very big gap under the door to the room. They did not give room keys, an employee had to let you into the room anytime you had to leave and come back. This is the second time I have stayed here and had the king suite be less than clean. Will not be back.

I cancelled my reservation. The key card door lock system was not working and a hotel perso had to unlock the door each and every time you had to get into your room. I didn’t want to have that inconvenience. So I cancelled .

The hotel was understaffed. There was no personnel available for the Starbucks or bar. The staff that was on site were professional and polite and assisted, however, there was no notification on the website when i made my reservation. I stayed in room 152. I did not receive standard room attention (towels, bed made, etc.) for the lenth of my stay. The drain in the shower was very slow and verged on over flowing daily. I had to call the front desk for fresh towels. Closet door was off track and inoperable. The light at the desk was inoperable. This was not up to my expectations for a Marriot property. Hotel is under renovation and outdated. We were put in an 'updated' room which was still run down and outdated including the tub which seemed hazardous and slippery. The ice machines were out of order as well. We feel that it should have been stated that the hotel was under construction and not quite ready to be in service. Even as we drove in the landscaping was overgrown and unkept. Should be charging less for these accommodations.

Great location great service with potential

The people who work at the hotel are very awesome and I would like to give a shout out to Derrick in the café who made me a yogurt parfait despite being out of them. Front desk people were awesome. The only thing that was hard was that for someone like me with a meniscus issue going on in her knee my options were to take the elevator at one of the hotel and walk all the way around to my room or climb the small flight of stairs, which I did, but it was a very slow moving process. Hotel was also under construction as well and I’m glad they are doing renovations because the hallways are very out of date and the carpet is in very bad condition in the hallways. My room was nice. However, the light from the courtyard came through the curtains. Also, the bathroom light was attached to the fan, so I usually keep that on so that I have an easy time getting to the bathroom. It would’ve been nice if the fan could’ve been shut off because it was very noisy at night.

Bathtub blues

Stained bathtub was lethally slippery. The grab bar was installed on the wrong side so that you had to get in or out right under the shower head if you used it. Construction going on so things were noisy and messy. But customer service was good.
