10/10 Excellent

"This is the first time I have stayed at a Staycity hotel, but I will definitely be seeking them out in future travels. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the room was clean with everything I needed. The bed was comfortable. The location was great for walking around Bordeaux and accessing transit. My only complaint is that the kitchenette sink is tiny and it’s difficult to wash all the provided dishes in there/ have somewhere for them to dry, but I did appreciate having so many amenities in my room. Would highly recommend and absolutely stay here again!"

"We arrived late, however for the entire time we didn’t receive the parking QR code. Turned out to be the staff wrote down my email wrong (mess up with my last name). Do we had to pay 75 Euros extra for the parking plus 40 minutes extra to find the parking garage. After 8 hours driving and mid night, it was a bummer. Then the room sheets were smelling from something. The bathroom floor was dirty, the bathroom door handle was falling off and during our entire stay, no one seemed to care about it. For entire 3 days stay, we only got 1 bottle of water on day one. So I cannot give any positive feedback unfortunately."

"I rarely write a review but I think this hotel experience categorically does not deserve a rating of over 8, given that our room: - was next to a public alleyway, meaning the curtains had to be closed the whole time, allowing for no natural light - had no door between the bedroom and toilet, with a short distance between the two, absolutely zero privacy I imagine we were given one of the worst rooms in the hotel, but regardless this is completely subpar quality for the experience expected!"

6/10 Okay

"Great location if you want to be close to the train. A bit of a yucky walk with not much else around. Was excited for a roof top bar/restaurant, they only serve 3 course meals, no options for bar snacks or lighter meals which was disappointing. Rooms are beautiful, just very noisy! Especially my third night when I had to change rooms as it was an additional booking, was under the kitchen and they banged around until after 11 and were back at 530, so impossible to sleep. Absolutely do not use the laundromat near the train station, very scary and unsafe. "
