My husband and I stayed there with our two adult children, and it felt like there was enough room for all of us, especially when the weather was nice enough to use the outside seating. We felt really well looked after at check in and knew we could get in touch if there was a problem. We didn't have a car and found the location perfectly acceptable, even with the return walk up a hill after a night out. We would definitely recommend this accommodation, lovely place, well equipped kitchen and lovely people. Thank you :)"

"Truly magical and breathtaking in every way! From the moment we arrived with Paola meeting us at the car park and escorting us through the charming medieval village, up the steep cliffside hill to our own slice of heaven at the foot of the castle, we felt as though we had been transported to another time and place more beautiful anything we could have imagined. The view of the Gulf of Poets was made more gorgeous by the storm clouds and sun bursting through. Paola was gracious in offering to extend our checkout time since it the weather had been inclement and in retrospect, we wish we would have stayed rather than leaving early to visit Cinque Terre. We all agreed PortaVenere was far more enchanting than any of the crowded villages of Cinque Terre. "
