Le Mas du Chateau in Provence, a charming 18th century residence
You can enjoy splendid days by the pool and superb excursions through this magnificent region of Provence. Marseille Provence airport an hour's drive away and Avignon TGV station 15 minutes away by car or taxi provide quick and easy access to the Mas du Château which has several parking spaces. A large entrance opening onto a living/dining room. A shaded, equipped terrace, a private garden not overlooked and a large swimming pool. A fully equipped and practical kitchen, a utility room with washing machine and dryer and a downstairs toilet. Upstairs the master suite, the bathroom with bathtub and shower as well as the toilets are accessible by a staircase from the living room. A second spiral staircase at the opposite end of the house takes you to bedrooms 2 and 3 with a separate bathroom (shower/sink). The master suite and bedroom 2 are connected via two doors, allowing both access to the upstairs rooms and privacy. The Mas retains the charm of a family home with many original features including high-speed 5G Wi-Fi and air conditioning. It is an ideal starting point for accessing all the best there is to discover in Provence, 15 minutes from the historic center of Avignon with its famous sites and its wide choice of excellent restaurants. Well served by local shops with two huge Shopping Centers just a 5 minute drive away. The famous Spirou Park, Wave Island, a cinema, a bowling alley, two equestrian centers, two 18-hole golf courses, canoeing and kayaking activities, a 5-star SPA, small high-quality shops just 5 minutes away on foot: bakery, office press, greengrocer and pharmacy. Lots of things to do within an hour's drive - the Pont du Gard, Isle sur la Sorgue, the Duchy of Uzès, the Haribo candy museum at the entrance to Uzès, the hilltop villages of the Luberon valley, wine tastings at Châteauneuf du Pape, the astonishing citadel of Les Baux, the villages of the Alpilles, the Roman towns of Nîmes and Arles. Barely an hour's drive from the city of Marseille, the Camargue and Cassis.
