Looking for an authentic stay in the heart of the Saumur vineyards? Welcome to this charming tuffeau stone house, located in the heart of a young organic winery in Puy-Notre-Dame, between Saumur and Montreuil-Bellay.

The owners, who recently settled on the estate, will be delighted to share their craft, their passion for the vine, and their daily life as winemakers. Depending on your interests, you can also visit the winery and cellar, and take a stroll through the vineyards.

The house is arranged over two levels:

On the ground floor, you will find a spacious dining room with a small sitting area and television, and a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, oven, refrigerator, microwave, two-cup coffee maker, French press, kettle, dishes, and cooking utensils). Please note: the cottage does not have a dishwasher.

Upstairs, you will find three spacious and bright bedrooms. Each bedroom has a double bed (one 160x200cm bed in one bedroom and one 140x190cm bed in each of the other two bedrooms), its own private shower room, and a separate toilet for added comfort and privacy. An additional sleeping option is available in one of the bedrooms with a sofa bed, and a travel cot is also provided for babies.

Enjoy the pergola-covered terrace in the courtyard, a pleasant space for meals, drinks, or relaxing after a day of sightseeing. You might even be visited by one of the owners' resident cats.

For your shopping needs, numerous shops are within walking distance: bakery, delicatessen/caterer, pharmacy, tobacconist, etc. A supermarket is located in Montreuil-Bellay, and a grocery store is a 5-minute drive away in the village of Vaudelnay. Parking is available in front of the property or in the square near the house.

For your comfort, you'll enjoy an all-inclusive package (beds made upon arrival, towels, and cleaning included): all you have to do is unpack and enjoy this experience in the heart of the vineyards.

From Puy-Notre-Dame, you can easily explore the treasures of the Loire Valley, the Saumur region, and Anjou: the medieval town of Montreuil-Bellay is 10 minutes away, Saumur and its famous Cadre Noir are 25 minutes away, Montsoreau and the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud are 35 minutes away, and Chinon is 45 minutes away.

For activities: discover the Thouet Valley by canoe, spend a day at Center Parcs Le Bois aux Daims (25 minutes away), hike and cycle through the vineyards, and of course... enjoy wine tasting at nearby estates. For families, the Bioparc in Doué-la-Fontaine is one of the area's major attractions.
