Appears to be a newer building that is just changing hands. Surprisingly inexpensive compared to most others. Facilities were very good. Spacious, bright, quiet, large breakfast area, comfortable beds. Among the best hotels we've stayed at.

Our room was nice, spacious, and clean. The shower had a lot of pressure. There was plenty of parking. But the breakfast was dry and the fruit hadn't been replenished from the night before. They didn't seem to monitor or care about it. Two of the three ice machines were broken and vending machines were empty. Some other equipment was broken. The location was also strange, down a bumpy road behind a Love's gas station. Not a bad location, just not where I'd expect a hotel. So, not a bad experience, but it wouldn't take much work (except for the location) to make it a good experience.

Nice room, in good shape and clean. Only deficiencies: bathroom fan super noisy, outlet for TV had no power so has to swap with fridge plug, lamp outlet did not have power. Good breakfast.

We were overall pleased with our stay. Everything was clean. We didn't try the pool. The breakfast provided quite a few different things. Nothing really good, but better than a lot of places. The bed was very comfortable.

Room to improve

The hotel was eh okay. My room, there was a huge hole in the curtain. The shower was stained bad. It was overall in crap condition. Dead flies in the window. Everything white seemed like it had a yellow tint to it. The best part was the customer service.

Quiet, staff was friendly, good selection for breakfast. There was no remote for our TV so had to call to have staff resolve. Thermostat did not work in our room. Side door which was supposed to be locked and opened with hotel key card was broken and remained unlocked which questions safety if anyone can come in that door.

A great stay for one night on our way home!

We stayed at this hotel for one night on the way back from a family vacation. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was OK. We didn't feel that the person at the desk was very friendly and didn't really engage with us except to get our credit card and a form signed. It wasn't a "welcoming" experience if that makes sense. We noticed that there were some maintenance issues around the hotel, like light bulbs being burned out. All in all, the stay was fine, but we didn't think that it was quite the high standard that we usually see when staying with HI Express hotels.

While there are certain amenities associated with Holiday Inn Express, this was not the cleanest hotel. There were lots of dead bugs in the windows and there was a strange spray they saturated every room with (we had three) -- so much so that my daughter's skin broke out from lying on the bed. There were some repairs that needed to be made, an improvement to the overall cleanliness. The staff was very friendly though and quick to accommodate.

Don't stay here.

Walked in and nobody was at the front counter. I yelled, asking if anyone was here after looking around. Finally found a phone that connected to someone who came to check us in. The room was damp and musty and the carpet underneath the air conditioner was soaking wet. I walked past it and the water soaked into my socks. Room wasn't very clean and previous damages were clearly repaired poorly. The coffee in the morning was good, though. Actually, it was the best part of the stay.
