"Stunning views and just steps to the beach. Lovely updated one bedroom apartment with balcony access from living room & bedroom. Well equipped, including washing machine (& drying rack on balcony), wi-fi & coffee maker options. There was a beach umbrella in the balcony storage closet, but we spent most days at Belle Plage on the beach just a little west down the street & rented chaises with umbrellas for 30 each/day (this was for front line…but lines 2-4 were less expensive options). I recommend making reservations. The apartment does not include beach towels, so we brought our own. The hosts Pierre and Ruth provided great communication and Yolande was so kind. Definitely recommend this amazing apartment in Cannes!"

"Overall: Fabulous at a fair price! 5-stars - Highly recommended for couples or solo travelers. Location: Villa Botanica is located in Old Cannes, amidst shops & restaurants, corner grocery stores and large open air markets, as well as mass transportation (steps from the central bus depot). I normally stay in Centerville (around The Carlton), but I've enjoyed staying in Old Cannes, which is a 7-10 min walk to the West. I find Old Cannes more lively and much less tourist-trappy than Centerville. Property: It's beautiful and decorated very tastefully. It's cozy, but makes expert use of the space. It felt perfect for couples or solo travelers. It's large enough for a child (or friend) who could crash on the couch, but I wouldn't recommend more than 3 people. It has cold air conditioning which was a must-have if you're visiting in the summer, laundry in the lobby, and kitchenette with all the necessities for simple meals in (but really, you should eat out in Cannes!). Host & Communication: Top-notch host -- proactive, kind, responsive. Easy check-in and check-out. I didn't need anything additional, but I felt like if anything needed addressing, it would have been at once. "

"A lovely apartment exactly as described in a great location. Be aware that it’s up a hill. Steps take you to the beach in less than 5 minutes, and you’re close to bars and restaurants, but it’s quiet at nice. A nice terrace to enjoy a meal- some sun but nice shade. Be aware of additional charge for linens. Well-equipped kitchen. Excellent communication with host. We would happily come back. "

"False information. Luxury apt is a basement. Provides pictures of penthouse while booking. No windows (there are which either look down on your bed or shower). Only one key provided, which in case of power outage leaves you locked out."
