Amazing location with the town at your footsteps. The Cuban bar right outside your door! Room was beautiful, very rustic and charming. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return!

Nice property for a short stay, no services on site but very easy walk to all the restaurants, shops and bars around town. Terrible parking. Very noisy at night as they run a bar business with Live music until late which makes it difficult to sleep. If you are travelling heavy be mindful there is no lift.

Rooms are nice and clean and hosts are very helpfull and polite, but it is a rather weird concept of having hotel rooms around a bar with live music untill late at night. If you go to bed after midnight - 1-2 am, thats ok, if you like to fall to sleep earlier than that, it would be a problem.

Questionable location

We stayed a week and I can say that the experience was positive in some ways, questionable in others. Positive things: the room is cute and tastefully decorated with repurposed period furniture; the air conditioning works very well and does not disturb even if left on all night, carefully regulating the temperature; the room is cleaned and tidied up every day (which is undoubtedly necessary given the custom, terrible for us but unfortunately widespread in all the Greek islands, of having to throw dirty toilet paper in the waste bin instead of in the toilet); the staff and reception very friendly and helpful. Negative things: above all one: when we booked the room it was described as "with a garden view": a pity that the "garden" in question is actually a Cuban-Caribbean music venue full of people until late with loud music, people laughing and talking loudly, and above all very little privacy! Another thing to keep in mind: the structure is in the center of the pedestrian area of Lefkada, in a nice and suggestive alley, but if you want to rent a car it is good to know that you cannot get there, and you have to leave the car parked at least 10 minutes on foot (hoping to find a place!)

Very loud bar with live music until 2 am every night. In the hotel information it says there is a wine bar and a garden bar but no info about the live music.And if you get a room with garden windows ( as we did) it will be impossible to sleep before 2 am. The rooms are nice and cosy but that doesn't help when there is loud live music directly outside your window. There is no reception and if you want to get in touch with anyone from the staff you get a WhatsApp phone number. But if you call no-one answers. If you text them it takes a couple of hours to get an answer.

Séjour confortable mais bruyant

La chambre était très agréable, le lit grand et confortable, la salle de bain très bien, présence de clim. En revanche, un bar est installé directement dans la cour de la maison dans lequel l'hotel est installé, j'avais les les tables et le bar littéralement de l'autre côté de la porte fenêtre (que je n'ouvrais donc pas le soir) et les soirées ont été très bruyantes, jusqu'à 1 heure du matin tous les soirs... mieux vaut être prévenus. Aussi, il y a une machine à café dans la chambre mais aucune dosette, c'est dommage.

Il posto molto carino dentro in un locale cubano in pieno centro Non mi è piaciuta la pulizia in generale, oltre ai tappeti del tutto antigenici, purtroppo non c'era acqua(anche se non per colpa loro immagino, ma per problemi idrici) musica fino a tarda notte

Direkt, in einem kleinen Innenhof, vor dem Zimmern ist eine Bar und es finden abends täglich Lifeauftritte statt. Diese sind sehr laut.

Είναι λίγο ιδιαίτερο ξενοδοχείο. Το δωμάτιο ήταν ισόγειο, μύριζε υγρασία, κι έβλεπε στην αυλή η οποία χρησιμοποιείται ως υπαίθριος χώρος του μπαρ. Οι καρέκλες του μπαρ ήταν σχεδόν ένα μέτρο έξω από την πόρτα. Υπήρχε αρκετή φασαρία. Η μουσική που παίζει το μπαρ είναι πολύ καλή και κλείνει πριν τις 24:00 αλλά οι πελάτες παραμένουν. Η υποδοχή ήταν πολύ φιλική. Το κρεβάτι ήταν άνετο. Δύσκολα θα το επέλεγα ξανά.

Schönes Stadthotel mit kubanischen Flair.

Das Aigli ist ein schönes Stadthotel mit kubanischen Flair. Jeden Abend gab es im Hotelgarten live Musik (Solist Gesang und Gitarre) . Das Zimmer (grünes Zimmer) ist geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider ist der Natursteinboden im Hotelgarten und am Eingang sehr uneben, so dass ich gleich am ersten Tag meinen Fuß verstaucht habe. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in der Innenstadt und man findet sich schnell zurecht.

Καθαρό δωμάτιο αλλά χωρίς μπαλκόνι αλλά μας υπέδειξαν ότι θα μας έδιναν μέσω της σελίδας κ άλλο μας έδωσαν δεν είχε μπαλκόνι δε είχε κάπου να απλώσουμε πετσέτες η μαγιώ το δωμάτιο ήταν ισόγειο μπροστά σ ένα μπαρ με ζωντανή μουσική με ντραμς κ νταούλια καλό αλλά όχι γι αυτά τα λεφτά

Really nice room, clean and pretty, in the middle of the town. The facility is really cozy, in a wonderful yard. The stuff was very polite and always tried and managed to please you. The only negative thing was the Cuban music playing at night at the yard, as it becomes a bar open for everybody.

Great little spot!

Really lovely experience and unlike anywhere else we stayed in Greece! We loved the rooms and the surroundings plus the Cuban music every night was a real treat.

Unfortunately the Sapfo Room was the noisiest hotel room I have stayed in. The child living in the private house directly above the room spent the weekend running up and down their wooden floor and screaming in the middle of the night... if you do stay in this room I would recommend ear plugs!

A nice quiet location that is just a short walk from the harbor/port area, with all the bars and restaurants.Great buffet breakfast, excellent coffee and very comfortable beds all made for an excellent stay!

A much anticipated holiday turned into a nightmare

We had prepaid 3 nights at Aigli the "quiet cosy&casual boutique guesthouse". To our big surprise the entrance of the hotel was a Cuban garden bar which promised live music every night. And then surprise no2 struck us as our room was on the ground floor literally 2 steps from the bar. As soon as we entered the room along with the owner he made sure to pull the curtains of the 2 windows facing the discrete garden and courtyard and so called haven of peace which was the cuban garden bar where guests were casually sipping cocktails. He informed us about the humidity of Lefkada and the need of air conditioning thus the immediate closure of the windows and curtains. I won't get into details within the room (or smelly bathroom). We had prepaid 495€ at a quiet room facing a quiet garden which in an hour turned into a loud cocktail bar. With shut doors and my partner feeling uncomfortable, unsure of whether the blinds were thick enough we were obliged to have the air conditioning on as the windows were serving as the backdrop of the tables being occupied by the bar's clients we decided to speak with the management. The owner was rude, had no solution to offer, he told us to leave if we didn't like it and that there was no refund-and overall proved to be very unprofessional, irrespecutful and clueless of what accommodation means. If you are looking to stay in the middle of a cocktail bar at Lefkada's town, Aigli is a great choice, just make sure you know what you are paying for.
