Treehouse with deck

  • Small space but has everything you need... like a hotel room. You are "nestled in the trees" on the deck, in a nice wooded setting. Make this your getaway for some time alone, or as a couple. Relax in the outdoors, and enjoy the waterfall feature. This is a studio space of 115 sf. Photos are from all seasons. Open first day of Spring through Thanksgiving, closed in Winter. No cleaning fee.

Comfy and clean!

We loved this property! My friend and I attended a training in De Soto and this was a much better option over a hotel. Beautiful landscapes guided as we drove to this peaceful abode. It had everything we needed to relax and unwind.

Very clean and cozy! Power briefly went out while we were there (not host's fault) and the host graciously kept us updated on when it would be back! Very nice if you're looking to curl up with someone special for a getaway.

Treehouse

My wife and I drove in for the NASCAR race in Kansas City. This place was amazing, beautiful view, quiet, and a short drive to anything around Kansas City. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again sometime. The Treehouse was better than pictures and I would recommend this treehouse to anyone looking for a cool place to stay.

Small piece of paradise

Greg and I had a wonderful time in the treehouse and are only regret was not being able to stay longer. The bed was super comfortable, great shower and all the amenities you can imagine. We were so cozy and it has everything you need for a stay. We visited Kaufman Stadium for a Royals game. Great neighborhood, pretty scenery and I would love to come back!

Tree house get away

Came to KS from Iowa to visit family. This was a perfect place very clean and accommodating. The cat was the hostess with the Mostess! We loved her! Loved the waterfall and all of the trees! We had an exceptional experience. Thank you so much.

Short & sweet

Treehouse was neat, a little small in the bathroom. The only thing that would've made it better would be a fire pit to cook over & enjoy a campfire & a grill of some sort. Felt very welcoming and very clean. Even though it stormed and I was a little nervous, all was fine, waterfall was very serene and I loved the deck as well as the bedding. The pillows and mattress were comfyand the fresh smelling bedding was fabulous and the homemade treats really hit the spot when we got there after a long trip.

Perfect Respite

We booked the treehouse for the weekend to see a concert and do some tourist activities. We're not nightlife folks, and we love a low key morning with coffee on a porch...this little gem was perfect for us! The space is so cute and cozy. The snacks and drinks were a super lovely touch especially after a four hour drive! We loved our time here and we're bookmarking for when we come back to KC. Heads up if you have a severe cat allergy- their adorable cat Sellita loves the deck. The guide mentions not to let her in (thank you!!) but that she likes to hang out outside . She is very friendly but fortunately she preferred my spouse and I had my allergy meds on hand :) also...the restroom is small and right by the head of the bed... I wouldn't recommend this spot with a partner until you're comfortable with them 😅

This was a gem of a place… So adorable, so clean - the space that they had was utilized extremely efficiently. The owners were lovely and even had fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, ready… Absolutely will stay here again and when encourage anybody else to do so. The outdoor deck and water feature were so relaxing at night…

Wonderful getaway!

The treehouse was a great anniversary stay for my fiance and I. Quaint tree house nestled on a wooded property. It was close to amenities but far enough away to feel secluded. The owner Bob was gracious enough to help us light a fire. Lovely place for a small escape from the norm. Thank you!
