Swapna was very helpful and friendly. The house is a delight with a huge backyard. The fireplace was also very useful as it gets pretty cold here at night. The house is in a really convenient location close to Leura mall and the train station.
Host was very welcoming and helpful. The house was well equipped and very clean. Compared to other houses we have used the furniture was very comfortable. Great place if you are travelling with dogs ( but no doggy door) Very peaceful stay
You can walk to the village but if it is up a rise which might turn you off walking. But it is downhill on the way home. We had no trouble parking in Leura during the week. Plenty of backyard for the dogs to run around. The gas fire also kept the house warm. The house was very comfortable
A lovely little cottage with all the comforts of home. We stayed 2 nights in July, gas fireplace warmed the house well and we appreciated the electric blankets and room heaters.Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was very well equipped. Our dog enjoyed the backyard which was very well fenced. We loved our stay - would love to stay again.
Enjoyed our stay here - the house has all you need for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. It’s close to the main street of Leura - walking distance less than ten minutes. Great value for money and the host was very helpful and responsive!
We had a wonderful stay — everything was exactly as described. The place was cozy, full of character, and made for a perfect getaway in the Blue Mountains. It’s a great find for families, with or without pets. I’d happily stay again, and next time I’ll be booking a longer visit.
The host was kind, and the cottage itself was okay. However, the bedding was extremely uncomfortable. The bed was very unstable, and the mattress was far too soft, which caused my husband back pain. The duvet and cover did not stay together, so we felt cold at night, and the cover was quite noisy every time I moved.Even though it's December, the Blue Mountains were quite cold. The heater in the living room did not warm the space properly, and the heater in the bedroom was very old. When I slept with it on, there was oil smell, and I woke up with a very bad headache in the morning. (On the nights I turned it off, it was so cold that my dog and I kept waking up.)Because of the uncomfortable bed and the cold accommodation, I couldn’t sleep properly during the stay. My body felt cold, unwell, and exhausted, and all I wanted was to return to my home in Sydney as soon as possible. It did not feel like a holiday.
Great location. Cozy secure cottage with great ammenities. So warm with the fire place going.2 good size bedrooms and bathroom.Very well equipped kitchen and a good size outside deck overlooking a large grassed area.Highly recommend.Elspeth.
