Our In-town Lewes location is near shops, restaurants, bars, museums, city and state parks, bay and ocean beaches, and all of the amenities the Delaware shore has to offer.

Our home is two blocks from the city's Blockhouse Pond, Historic district, farmers market, three blocks from its Canal Front Park and marina, and five blocks from the waterfront 1812 Memorial Park. Lewes historic sites, shopping, dining, museums, and entertainment are all a brief walk from our location. Bay and Ocean beaches are nearby too. And Delaware's famous outlet mall shopping is just a few minutes away by car.

This two bedroom home is located on a quiet street in downtown Lewes and sleeps four comfortably. The house is fully stocked and very clean. Other property features include WiFi, off street parking, and a lovely tree shaded lawn.

Clean, well-supplied, great location. It is located just outside the busy center of Lewes. It’s quiet and restful but conveniently close to restaurants and the beach. Dishes, lots of towels, linens, soaps, etc. were all available. My only minor complaint is a weak WIFI signal. It didn’t interfere with our enjoyment of our vacation.

A Great Rental Home in a Friendly Town

This was our first trip to Delaware and we couldn’t have stayed in a better rental for our weeklong vacation. The home was quiet and comfortable and we loved being able to walk (or bike) to so many places including the beach, village shops, and parks. Between the Saturday Farmers’ Market and Lloyd’s little, very well-stocked, grocery store (both within walking distance) we were able to get all the food we needed for our stay. Lastly, we found Lewes to be a very friendly town that we’ll definitely want to come back to.

Great stay walking distance to historic Lewes

The house was small, but was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young children). We spent most of our time on the beach (convenient drive to both Lewes Public Beach and Savannah Beach), so having an outdoor shower in the backyard to rinse off the sand at the end of the day was great. Walking into town took a bit more time with 2 small children, but even so it would take us no more than 10 min - essential for ice cream/coffee breaks! Also, walking distance to two great playgrounds (Lewes CanalFront Park and another closer to the house at the George HP Smith Memorial Park). We had a great time :)

Sweet place in great location

My first vrbo experience. Cute, clean place in historic Lewes. Close to the 2nd (main) street and canal. Nice having outdoor shower to avoid sand inside. Has parking spot. Great place for a getaway!

A Great Choice in Lewes

Clean and well-equipped. In a beautiful neighborhood walking distance from Front Street. Very convenient for visiting Cape Henlopen State Park. Might be a little small for a family of 4 but perfect for us 2. This is the second time we have stayed there!

Cozy, quiet, central!

Spent a great week in Lewes at end of summer. Perfect for a low key couple’s getaway It was a quick last minute booking so there was some confusion about getting the key code but owner was quick to respond. (Key entry info comes into email box looking like a lot of other VRBO promotional emails so that could be improved). Very quiet, safe area near downtow…great walking and biking into throughout the week to shop, dine. Kitchen could benefit from an upgrade and more amenities and supplies (just 2 dishwasher tabs left for the entire week.) Not fancy, but clean and adequate. Location can’t be beat if you’re looking for a walkable, bikeable quiet location in Lewes.

Great location, older cottage

This little cottage is dated and smells like moth balls. On two days of our stay, we came home after the beach to the cottage smelling like cigarette smoke. It does air our quickly if you open the windows and back door. The location is great - on a quiet street in the historic Lewes village. Safe and comfortable. I e rode our bikes to the bay with our kids and could walk to the village.

Perfect beach house

Cute, comfortable, homey beach house. The house was very well-equipped with plenty of sheets, towels, dishes, plates etc. Having a dishwasher and washer/dryer in the home was a huge plus. Excellent location in-town in Lewes. An easy 15 minute walk to shops and restaurants around 2nd Street. And a very easy drive to beaches and Cape Henlopen. Owners are wonderful! We accidentally left an item outside when packing the car and leaving and the cleaners called the owners and the owners called us immediately. Would definitely stay again when visiting Lewes.

Excellent Condo in Lewes

First off we would stay here again.The condo is walking distance to downtown Lewes. We brought bikes and its literally 5 mins and 10 mins to the beach. I would recommend traveling around town by bike and parking can be a bit tough. The neighborhood is perfect and quiet - but Lewes is pretty quiet. Little traffic near the condo. The house has all the plates, dishes, cups you would need and there is an outdoor showers. Linens were ready for us and the place was very clean. Really can't say enough about how much we all enjoyed staying here. It was a great size for two adults and two kids.

First stay in Lewes!

We had a great time in Lewes as a family with 2 kids 6 and 9. So many activities kept us busy and loved every single restaurant we went to. The property was just what we needed to take breaks from our adventures and rest up for the next day. The outdoor shower was easy and efficient for the kids and having linens provided made our stay super easy! Thanks for sharing your property with us!
