"The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Rooms were tight quarters with those beautiful log bed frames. Only 3 of us and hard to move at times. Other than that, great little getaway for my boys to ski and kick it poolside"

"Breakfast was the bare minimum. The only hot option was biscuits and gravy and the biscuits where rock hard. The hot tub was out of order. The picture for the pool and hot tub online must have been taken about 5-10 years ago and does not represent the current state it is in. The pictures of the rooms also look much nicer than what they are, hotel is very patched together/ older and could use a quick paint job in alot of locations.The room and hotel were on the dirtier side. The floor in our room wasn't swept, there was hair in the whirl pool and shower and there was garbage and items left in the cupboards and drawers form the last person. The bed/ bedding and towels were clean though."

"This was our second stay here and it was as great as we remember. We watched the snowfall (and deer) from the big living room windows, cooked meals, played games, watched movies and of course enjoyed the incredible spa experience the bathroom provides. I am so appreciative of vacation rentals that are well equipped: you will have plenty of towels, basic toiletries, cookware and dining essentials, pillows, blankets, etc. Iron Mountain has several good dining options as well as coffee spots and well-stocked grocery stores and there are lots of outdoorsy activities year-round. We really need to return during warmer weather to take advantage of the lake!"

"Everyone was friendly. Called ahead to check amenities to which I was very mislead. Reservation fee was removed for inconvenience.Rooms are very tight and not enough room for storage. Closet is in bathroom?!. Large amounts of light comes in through bathroom door, entry door and through all windows making room very bright at night. My bed was extremely saggy. After the 1st night I realized my bed had a broken box spring which I told front desk. I asked if maintenance could swtich out the box spring but was told didn't have maintenance until next day. I was offered another room but we had so much to move I said no. I ended up putting the ironing board under mattress to give it support and it worked. The sauna was not working, the hot tub was great! Pool very cold. The restaurant had reopened after a closure. We both wanted the short rib entree but were told they didn't have the short rib or the sirloin that night. I had the pork medallions over wild rice. My friend had the chx parm which she enjoyed. Mine was very salty, with a soy saltiness. The pork was thinly sliced and very dry. I didn't even eat 1/3 of it. No color to the dish with way too much rice to meat ratio. Soup and salad were brought out with meal as they were forgotten. Breakfast service was fantastic. I ordered the egg sandwich with my egg sunny side up it came over hard. Flavor was good. Only options for sides are several types of potatoes but happily I was able to get a small side salad instead. "

"This is such a cute and cozy little house. All amenities work as described. The heat and air conditioning function very well. The house is very clean with a comfortable little living room with a nice big screen TV.This is a remodeled lovely old home in a safe neighborhood. Rooms are small but definitely functional. It won't suit your needs if you're looking for a dining room table. The steps going to the second story are short and somewhat steep, which is normal for these older homes. These are not complaints, I'm just adding these details so you understand when you're considering this house. I love the big shower stall, and the yard, garage and the home are well maintained.We lived comfortably in this home over the weekend and it worked perfectly for us. The TV would start buffering at night, I just unplugged it and waited several seconds to plug back in. This seemed to reset it and stop the buffering. I'm adding this property to my favorites."
