"Stayed a weekend here with 3 couples and 2 toddlers. The house layout worked perfect for our group with us each having our own floor and bathroom. The kitchen is very well appointed with great cookware and utensils. Thoughtful touches throughout coffee/to go cups/welcome treats/shampoo/toothpaste/detergent and some condiments - things that is was so nice to not have to purchase for just a weekend. Have to admit was taken aback pulling into the property as the front porch and eaves are in disrepair and cluttered with broken down furniture. Inside is an improvement on that. Note loft bedroom has privacy curtains but is definitely a loft open to the living area below. Grateful for our stay!"

"Everything met expectations and then some. Most places we have been to have the very minimum basics but Kelsey and Joe have everything you need. Very clean and well kept especially for being a log cabin style home, those can be harder to keep clean. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable, and the blanket felt like a cloud! The hot tub was clean, though when you first open the leaves will likely fall in, which there is a net close by and to scoop those out.The water was so clear and kayaks were easy to get in and out of the water. If you plan to get in the lake, be sure to wear water shoes, there are zebra mussels everywhere and a lot of spots that sink in but that is just part of some lakes in general. We didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit as it was too windy, but they had wood available as well. Would be nice to have a fire pit close to the cabin but being so close to the woods, I can understand why they might not want to.Very close to multiple places as well for those who want to go check out the trails or towns. We went to Pyramid Point, the hike up was a little difficult but not too far so not the worst, worth the view!Overall everything was great and we would definitely come back!"

"Our weekly knitting group decided to plan a getaway up north and decided on staying here for the best views, amenities, and of course, enough beds to fit us all! This place has it all; A gorgeous view of little traverse lake, hot tub, plenty of seating and a nice big open floor plan to help us breathe a little easier. Would highly recommend it for your large group retreats and getaways. Thanks for your hospitality, Mark!"

"Had a wonderful stay, everything we needed was there! Hot tub was fabulous, clean and a nice addition! Only recommendation I would have is the pillows and mattresses were not comfortable. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch which was more comfortable than the master bedroom mattress. A lot of tossing and turning. But with that said, everyone’s level of mattress comfort is different, we prefer a softer mattress while others may appreciate a harder mattress! Not a deal breaker at all! "

"Well I didnt want to leave a bad review but since the owner dosent want to make it right this is what happened. When we got there we had no hot water and had to wait til the next day for someone to come out and fix it. When we went to turn on the lights 50% of the light bulbs were out. Went to turn on the tv and batteries were corroded . They did drop off batteries and bulbs the next day. All the dishes were filthy and we couldnt get the dishwasher to work until the 3rd day. They were not concerned. Apparently there was a guide book for the place but it was no where to be found. I said I couldnt find it, I got no response about that. Went to put the fireplace on that didnt work and apparently it is a non working fireplace, so don't list the fireplace as an ammenity. Who wants to go to the mountains and not cozy up to a fireplace?? They threw chairs in front of it as if to deter from using it. I could go on about the condition of the place but I will end with the sidewalk not being shoveled and sevral of my guests falling because of it. I reached out several times for compensation and have gotten no response. Hopefully these issues will be resolved before anyone else stays there."
