Dock of The Bay #203 - Oregon Beach Vacations

Dock of the Bay #203 is in one of the greatest locations on the Siletz Bay in Lincoln City. The Taft District is located at the south end of Lincoln City where you can find great shops and great food, including Mo's, famous for their clam chowder, or Hwy 101 Burger. You can even learn how to blow glass at Jennifer Sears Art Gallery and take home a beautiful glass object of your choosing to show off to your friends. This unit has had many return guests over the years because of how much they love this condo and the convenient location. This vacation rental is on the second floor and privately owned. There are no elevators at this condo complex or laundry facilities, but if you need to do laundry, there is a laundry mat located in the middle of town. This one bedroom condo with a queen bed and a sofa sleeper in the living room can accommodate up to four people. There is a full bath with tub and shower combo. This condo offers cable TV in the living room, a wood fireplace, and books to read while you relax and unwind. With stunning views of the seals jumping in the Bay in the morning, to the gorgeous sunsets in the evening, Dock of the Bay #203 offers guests a beautiful view of the Oregon coast and the Siletz Bay. Access to the beach is right behind the complex, and you can walk along the bay to the ocean and try your luck at finding one of the coveted glass floats left around the beaches in Lincoln City from mid October to late May. What wonderful weather

Really enjoyed new hide a bed, new appliances but coffeemaker didnt work. The outside sink to bathroom didnt drain well. Also electrical outlets in bedroom need changed thing would not stay plugged in. So many people have breathing machines and oxygen that the outlets need to work because of medical reason. Other than that we did have a great time. We always do. See you again, I hope soon.

Ownership does not care

For what ended up being rate (I’m not allowed to state what that is) of a much nicer place and after all of their fees, I deeply regret this stay and wished we stayed elsewhere. We purchased this because the photo and description said there would be a telescope, but when we got there there was none. We were questioned as to whether we called ahead to ask if it was still there, when I said “no” they said they were not liable for nonessential items. I feel mislead and misguided by their posting. It would have been nice for the stars and the sea lions across the bay. On top of that, the place was dirty. There were peanut shells from previous guests. There were missing blinds that barely worked so you have no privacy at night. There was a message from a previous guest on the mirror when you showered. There was a leak in the bathroom and under the kitchen sink. The was a s*** stain next to the toilet. The bed was covered in plastic that made it extremely hot. There were paper thin walls and you could hear a pin drop above you. People walking normally above us kept us until midnight. There was patchwork carpet and 2 patched holes in the walls. They were unresponsive to concerns and seemed to already know they problems and had answers for what our complaint would be. It was very shady, and I would absolutely recommend you choose any company other than Oregon beach vacations because there were other condos for rent in that location. (The location was great)

Great condo and the location was wonderful. Only downside was the pigeons. Luckily not on our balcony but on several others. They make a huge mess.

1970 time warp…. Thrift shop decor and not good thrift. We’re they afraid someone was going to steal a hooked rug picture or a chain amber ceiling lamp? No lamps plugged in. Lamp switches broken. Sliding door SLATS missing ! ! And all miss matched slats color and length hanging from broken overhead hanging bracket…… Love location/view/ and parking spot…. But would never use this unit in the future.

Another great stay in Lincoln City

Second time we've stayed at Dock of the Bay over the years, another great stay, love Siletz Bay. Only issue was the lack of screen door (just due to some flies/gnats), but beyond that, everything lived up to our expectations.

All about location!

Perfect location and comfortable beds but this unit definitely needs some updates and minor repairs. My only concern and the owners may not be aware is about cleaning service- we had to wash several pieces if kitchenware before we could use them. Coffee cups had coffee dried grounds in them and wine glass rims were not clean. This unit could be a five star with a few updates, maintenance repairs, and evaluate the cleaning service.

Beautiful Home!

The location couldn't be beat, especially for the price! It was so nice waking up to the high tide of the ocean! I would recommend this place to anyone, and I am hoping I can find my way back sometime soon.

Very fun beach trip!

Location was great especially for small children. Sofa sleeper was very comfortable! Did wish there where 2 toilets. Dish washer needs to be replaced. There was on 1 flat sheet for the sleeper. But had a great time.

Great Stay

Loved this condo! It was very clean and it has been updated (the pictures are not)., so that was a pleasant surprise! We had such a great time and will definitely stay here again. Be sure to bring a hair dryer, and any spices or cooking spray. I was surprised that those were not just stocked. I've been to other condos that had them stocked so just be sure to bring those items. :) Other than that it was a perfect stay!

A lovely place to stay

We enjoyed our stay here in Lincoln City. The condo was very nice and quiet at night so we slept really well. It is on a bay so you have to walk a ways to get to the ocean beach. The sand on the bay was clean and nice. We would stay here again.
