Spacious. Lovely Views
The house itself was very nice. Lots of space for us all and well furnished. The host had left a thoughtful welcome basket with some food items which was a nice touch.
The hot tub was great and the separate cabin with the fire pit was extra special.
However, our experience was made more stressful by receiving no contact from the owner on the day that we arrived. I had emailed in the morning to confirm details of how to access the property and did not get a reply. On arrival we had no idea how we were supposed to get in. There were three doors to the property and eventually my sister found a key safe which she used to access the back door keys. I just felt this was a stress we didnt need. We were all travelling from different areas of the country and arriving at different times, and as I had booked the property I was being asked how we would get in and had no answer.
I have emailed and text the host after our stay also to discuss this and to recommend a different approach to make it better for future bookings, but had no reply to either.
Also, we felt it would have been helpful if the host had mentioned the amount of flies that were around the property. There were signs saying to shut the windows when we leave, but our advice would be to minimise opening the doors or windows at all!! We were constantly battling with the flies everyday and it was disgusting. We would like to recommend to the owner to put up fly curtains at the doors. i have run out of room to say more
