"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at VARU by Atmosphere and couldn’t have asked for a better Maldives experience. From the moment we arrived in Malé, everything was seamless. We were warmly greeted, assisted to the waiting speedboat, and welcomed at the resort by our amazing host, Aziza. She made check-in effortless, helped arrange our activities, and personally escorted us to our magnificent overwater villa. Throughout our stay, Aziza went above and beyond, providing daily updates and ensuring every detail was taken care of. The restaurants were fantastic, especially Lime & Chilli, where we dined daily, along with memorable dinners at Charcoal & NU & KAAGE. The food and service were excellent, but what truly stood out was the warmth of the entire staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel like family, with thoughtful touches and special treats throughout our stay. The resort also made my wife’s 50th birthday incredibly special, even decorating our bed with flowers & birthday decorations-a beautiful surprise we will always remember. A huge thank you to Aziza, management (led by Neil), housekeeper Barsha & the entire VARU team for your exceptional hospitality and for making us feel so special. Everyone was lovely and I can name a few: Barakat, Saireddy, Barsha, Deepul, Lahufaan et al...Tho I only captured a few names, the entire team deserves a kudo We highly recommend VARU to anyone looking for a truly memorable Maldives getaway. Thank you!"

"This is a beautiful island and well worth a visit. The waterfront villas were perfect and had everything you could possibly need. Food was excellent, and that included the buffet breakfast, buffet lunch and buffet dinner. There was plenty of choice and it was great quality too. We also used all 4 of the à la carte restaurants which were also excellent. The beaches were wonderful and the sea was the typical turquoise green as you see in the photos of the Maldives. Pools also looked great, although we didn’t use them. The island is about 2km in circumference and very easy and enjoyable to walk around. You could request golf buggy transportation whenever you needed it which was very useful. Drinks and extras were expensive if you were not on an all inclusive package (US$14 for a beer) so that is something to be aware of. Apart from that, a perfect tropical island retreat! 🏝️"

"Five stars is not enough, This was a little bit of paradise, I wish I could have had more Time Here! The staff are super friendly - from The airport greet staff, the boat team, waiting staff and the team that showed us around when we arrived - many thanks Mayiz. The resort is just a quick 10 minute speedboat ride from The airport and everything is divine - we stopped in a beachfront villa which is superbly equipped with its own private little pool, well worth the extra. The water is lovely, sand is beautiful and we captured some Great pictures and many happy memories. The catering choices were vast - but you can easily blow your budget on extras here! A wonderful Time here, somewhere I hope I can come Back to soon."

"Dream Vacation Come True: I had been researching traveling to the Maldives for about 3 years. I looked at probably 50 hotels, and finally settled on Oblu Select Lobigili. We were there in July. The weather was mid-eighties and humid. We had the overwater bungalow with a private pool. If you're not sure about the pool - GET IT! We watched sunsets from the pool, and we hung out in the pool when conditions in the ocean didn't allow us to snorkel. We stayed for 1 week, and it was pretty perfect, with a few minor things worth mentioning. The pros: It was adults only! The overwater bungalow was amazing! Housekeeping kept it clean - they came in the daytime to clean and replenish supplies, and they did a turn-down service at night. The food was outstanding! So many choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our host, Ruchika, was so kind and helpful. We used WhatsApp to keep in touch, which made it so easy. We got 1 free dinner at the underwater restaurant, which was so fun. We got 1 free snorkeling trip to a nearby reef, which was super fun. We got a free massage as well. The cons: The ladder leading into the ocean from our bungalow was hard to climb up and down. You had to be in reasonably good shape, and I would have preferred stairs. We booked a star-gazing boat trip, but because they needed a minimum of 6 people to take the trip, and no one else booked it, we didn't get to do it. The floor in the bathroom is super slippery after you take a shower."
