"One of the best Scottish full breakfast meals of our holiday. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early. We had room#8 and from the minute I walked in, I started sneezing and my eyes would water up and get congested. Fortunately we weren't in the room much but I barely got any sleep due to tossing and turning. Finally after three of our four nights we had to leave. The hotel did offer to see if they could move rooms but that really wouldn't have mattered at that point. I am allergic to dogs and perhaps that is the reason. Unfortunately our rooms were non refundable so I had to lose a nights costs to get a good night of sleep. "

"We came for the views and stayed for the weather… which tried to personally introduce itself every five minutes. This house quickly became our safe haven from sideways rain, midges with ambition, and roads that politely pretend to be two lanes. The kitchen saw heroic efforts (and a few questionable meals), while the windows delivered postcard views on demand. If these walls could talk, they’d mention laughter, muddy boots, and at least one moment of “is that a sheep or a rock?” To the next guests—lean into the adventure, trust the kettle, and never underestimate how fast Skye can steal your heart."

"Small family owned hotel. Located in a remote location, so very peaceful and quiet. In the evening there is a nice fireplace in the lounge. Perfect for a quick pre or post dinner hangout on a chilly night. Drive to the hotel is filled with scenic views of the water, rolling hills dotted with grazing sheep! Rooms were large with modern bathroom facilities including the best towels we have experienced in a while! Undoubtedly though, the highlights of the stay were the exceptional food and the service by Sascha and Meghan. Despite being able to go out for dinner and breakfast we chose to have all 3 dinners and all 3 Breakfasts at the hotel. Really was a hidden gem in the Isle of Skye!"
