Mansewood Country House is a 300 year old former manse house located in picturesque village of Lochearnhead. The house is steeped in history, but has been sympathetically upgraded over the years to provide the perfect location for your group gathering.
The house is a 5 minute walk from Loch Earn, where you will find a watersports centre and fishing available. There are countless walking and biking trails in the area, including the Rob Roy Way, and the munro of Ben Vorlich. There are numerous well regarded golf courses within a short drive.
On arrival you will find parking for up to 7 vehicles. On entrance to the house you will find a comfortable sitting room with log burner and bluetooth speaker. Next to this is a cozy snug, where you can immerse yourself in a board game or book, or watch a film on the 50" TV (fast wifi is available throughout the property).
You can make use of your fully equipped kitchen to prepare a feast to enjoy in the generous dining room, or sample some fabulous Scottish fayre in the cafes and restaurants nearby.
Upstairs you will find 5 ensuite rooms with glimpses of the surrounding mountains, that can accommodate up to 10 people in a mix of bed configurations - superking/twin, king, double and twin. Rooms include a tea/coffee station, towels, hairdryer, TV, and ample storage. An iron iron/ironing board can be provided alongside clothes washing/drying and boot warming facilities.
Outside you will find seating where you can listen to the bird song, a chest containing lawn games, and a stile over which you can take a walk though the woodland that surrounds you. Keep an eye out for deer and red squirrels that live in the area.
