"Staff were so friendly and helpful. Castle grounds were nice. Castle itself was nice as well. There is currently scaffolding covering one side. There was a wedding there so we couldn't go into the library cuz it was reserved for them. "

"Upon entering the gates to this beautiful estate, I was greeted with a lobby perfect for an estate. The decorations were stunning and the receptionist was so kind and answered all my questions. She even offered to make us a reservation at the estates restaurant (which was amazing by the way). The room its self was so clean and pleasant. Adventuring around the estate inside and outside was like stepping into a fairy tale. I enjoyed every second of my stay. "

"Hotel is definitely showing its age. The rooms themselves are fine, but the bathrooms are very dated. Didn’t think much of the breakfast, but it was adequate. The warmest indoor swimming pool I’ve ever been in, so big thumbs up for that!"

"Amazing, small but well maintained Victorian building/lodge in a pleasant area, 10/15min drive from the city. Lots of buses to get in and out of the city in front of the lodge & reasonably cheap Uber/taxi ride. Friendly and helpful staff but be aware there’s no lift being an old building, but extremely lovely and helpful staff to help you with the luggage, just ask.. We stayed at the very top (so not suitable if you’re tall), well designed, clean, great fluffy linen/bed to come to, from all days...

"This is a super cozy option close to the city with buses stopping just outside. The hotel is very quiet which is a huge plus. The breakfast was something extra - a really luxurious serving with additional options included. My only problem was that the pillows were far too stuffed - it was difficult to find a comfortable position to sleep in. The bed was otherwise very soft and comfortable! "
