Top Loenen aan de Vecht Hotel Reviews
NH City Centre Amsterdam
8/10 Good
"Great hotel, staff could have been a bit better, breakfast was very disappointing"
YOTEL Amsterdam
8/10 Good
"Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned each day, but they didn't seem to sweep/vacuum the floor. There was a restaurant downstairs, and a store for snacks, drinks, coffee, etc below too, which was a plus."
ibis Amsterdam Centre
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic location and would definitely stay there again because of this. As we caught the train out to other parts of Netherlands. No kettle in our room and only drinks facility is an expensive drinks maker downstairs which could mount up"
Poppies
8/10 Good
"Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay at Poppies. When we first arrived, I was honestly a little shocked by how small the room was. It was even smaller than I had expected, and the facilities were extremely basic. There was no hair dryer, no microwave, and not even conditioner. The whole place has a very minimalist style, so if you are expecting a traditional hotel room with lots of amenities, this may take some getting used to. However, after staying for a couple of days, we gradually got used to the small space and actually found the hotel quite practical. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. The location also turned out to be more convenient than we initially thought. Bus 391 stops nearby and takes you directly to Zaanse Schans, which was perfect for our day trip to see the windmills. If you are a reasonably fast walker, you can also walk to Amsterdam Central Station in about 25 minutes. Considering the price, especially compared with many hotels in Amsterdam, I think Poppies offers pretty good value for money. The room is definitely very small and the amenities are limited, but if you mainly need a clean, affordable place to sleep and don’t mind a minimalist setup, it’s a good choice. Overall, a pleasant stay and good value for the price."
Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Situated perfectly to walk in any direction, nice and clean with a very professional staff."
Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean. The breakfast food was good although we found the snack options very expensive! The bar was clean and most of the staff were lovely."
The Hunfeld
10/10 Excellent
"Really lovely place, with good access"
Bunk Hotel Amsterdam
8/10 Good
"Clean room, helpful staff— my only complaint is how hot the room was and a broken shower that only sprayed out extremely hot or cold water. Not the staffs fault tho because I didn’t say anything. Other than that it’s a great distance from the city and in an amazing location."
Court Hotel City Centre Utrecht

"Canal side rooms are a great way to experience the city, would recommend!"
