"The owner/manager was out of town and not accepting reservations, but through some internet mistake I was able to book a room anyway. I called them when I got there and they were super accommodating, letting me into the office remotely and checking myself in. How kind of them! The room looked recently remodeled. "The views of the Fall colors was beautiful! My favorite place to enjoy morning coffee ( and a nap!) was the lounge chair in the loft. We used the firepit both nights and enjoyed the string lights on the patio. A walking trail was within 50 ft of the cottage. Due to cool temps, we didn't use the boat or canoe, but they were available. The cottage was roomy and back outdoor space was a perfect space to enjoy the view. Nice and peaceful! We will definitely be back."
