"We stayed in a king suite. It was clean, well stocked with towels and instant coffee and tea. It had a hot water kettle (but we always bring our own). The fridge was enough for drinks and leftovers. Check in was quick and easy. A small issue with the door lock was easily fixed. Read the summary paper on table to make your stay more enjoyable. The patio outside with fire pits and grills was great. "

"We visited during a weekend in April and overall did really enjoy our stay. The location is great, you can walk to everything and there is easy, free parking. I knew it was a historic building so I wasn’t particularly bothered by some of the quirks others seem to complain about. The biggest complaint would probably be the lack of mini fridge in the room as they are pretty standard. We were traveling with our 2 young kids and it would have been nice to refrigerate some of their snacks or leftovers. We dined at the tavern for dinner which was nice. I would skip Nathaniel's for breakfast, food came out cold and you had to ask for basics like syrup w/ pancakes. Staff was very welcoming and friendly! Would return! "

"The house was perfect for a get away with grandkids and visiting family near by. The views from sun room having morning coffee and evenings watching sun sets could not have been better. Check in and check out outstanding.will be returning "

"Easy access.. No front desk.. simply the use of codes to get into room. Nice set up for a comfortable stay with a sofa, table, kitchen if needed. Bed was very firm which we liked."

"Great location, clean but hardly any heat. Upon arrival, the space heater provided in one of the bedrooms showed the temperature at 52 degrees and it barely went over 60 degrees during our stay. We contacted the property manager who said it was out of thier control and the owner controlled it, as there was no thermostat in the unit. This issue should be included in the description of the property. I owned a short term rental in Beverly for several years and allowed the renters to control the heat and AC. You have to when its 30 degrees outside. Our stay was not restful when you are awoken every few hours to put on another layer to stay warm. In fact, last night we left the unit to go to a warm bar before coming back for bed."
