Room was clean and tidy and a big room with a lounge. Bathroom was good, hot water in the shower was instant. We used the laundry at $3 a wash this was very good. Close to many places in town and a short drive to the premier tourist attractions.

The property was comfortable and clean but a bit dated. Very quiet as it is off the main highway. Beds were very comfortable. Undercover parking. Easy walk to a nice comfortable tavern or RSL club for dinner. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 3 nights in August and really enjoyed it. Our hosts Amanda and Martin were very helpful at all times. The room was clean and quiet, the check in was great given that a lot of people got off the train at the same time, so there was quite a number of guests wanting to check in., and the courtesy bus to all the attractions was a great bonus. Thankyou for our wonderful stay. We will certainly return if the opportunity arises.

2 min walk from train station i.e. just cross the road. Prompt, courteous response for my enquiries. Everything I need for a comfortable stay was provided. The Chef at Harry's created superb dishes.

Great location , close to everything . Across the road from the train station . Swimming pool was lovely . Room was spacious . The only issue was a lack of drawers to put anything away and the only hanging space was above the kettle and toaster which was very strange ! Apart from that we enjoyed our stay there . Our room was very clean and cleaning staff friendly and helpful.

Very nice and great location if a bit pricey

Welll located, freshly painted and updated, pleasant staff- bit of a mix up on arrival even though the process was pre-arranged but receoption was flexible and apologised and shuttle to airport and main attractions is a good service. My only beef was the price as we had paid significantly less for the same number of nights in an even more remote hotel with same room configuration, though this one was definitely more modersn. Ask for a downstairs room when you book as there are only stairs to the first floor.

Convenient and comfortable

We had 2 nights here. Very convenient location near the railway station and walkable to shops and dining. One night we had an excellent meal at Harry's, next door. Room spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Only "annoyance" was, trying to be environmentally aware, we hung our towels up in bathroom to show we didn't want clean ones, but they changed them anyway. Left a note for cleaners next day to not change, so that was OK.

Cockroaches in room, killed 2 of them, one on my bed & the other in the bathroom. Also had 2 gecko lizards on interior wall of my room, I put them outside as they are harmless little gecko lizards. The entrance door has a gap at the bottom that would be big enough for an eastern brown snake to enter your room. Can hear noisy traffic passing through
