Lovely modern well equipped property that has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We stayed for just two nights so only met Florentin and he was very friendly and helpful. D day beaches/Bayeux within easy reach. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if returning to the area.

Great visit in Normandy
We spent 3 nights at the cottage in Normandy. It was a beautiful cottages, centrally located, and equipped with everything you need. It was clean and very comfortable to stay in. We loved the geese in the orchard next door. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Family holiday
Perfect for a family the property was just right. It’s a lovely area of Normandy and everywhere was within easy reach for days out. The hosts kept in touch by messaging and left a lovely bottle of cider. Even the geese in the orchard greeted us every time we returned from a day exploring. Would highly recommend to anyone exploring Bayeux or the surrounding area. Can’t wait to return in the future.

Wonderful Property - Well thought out house
We absolutely loved staying in this house while visiting Normandy. The owners did a wonderful job building this great and functional house and then filling it with everything we could need during our stay. We were close to everything yet in a quiet world of our own.
The house is directly next to a small road. The road is not at all busy, but when a car goes past it can be noisy. We had a lovely time and would definitely come back.

Wow! Amazing property!!
This property is just a few months old. The owners are super friendly people and have outdone themselves turning this from an old storage building into the nicest guest house I've ever stayed in. So much room, 2 bathrooms, very comfortable, fully stocked kitchen, clothes washer and dryer. My kids enjoyed feeding our stale bread to the exuberant and vocal geese right over the fence. This house is about 1 mile from Longues-sur-Mer and right in the heart of the D-Day beaches. About a 17 minute drive to Bayeaux also. The nearest little town is about 5 minutes away and has several great restaurants.
I can't say enough good things about this property. We stayed 2 nights, wish it could have been a week. It was so comfortable and nice.

Séjour sur les plages du débarquement et à Bayeux
Le logement planet est particulièrement bien situé pour découvrir les plages du débarquement mais aussi la ville de Bayeux. On peut rayonner partout rapidement. Le gîte est tout neuf très bien équipé et décore et confortable. Mon mari a pu faire son footing sur les chemins de randonnée qui mène aux batteries allemande de longue sur mer.
Nous recommandons vivement et nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Un merveilleux séjour
Nous avons séjourné dans le gîte du Planet et avons grandement apprécié l'expérience.
Sa situation est parfaite pour sillonner la région.
Le gîte en lui-même est très fonctionnel, tout a été bien pensé, pas de vis à vis, ce qui est super appréciable. Nous avons pu profiter au maximum de nos vacances dans un environnement confortable, calme et reposant.

Wundervolles schönes neues Haus.
Hilfsbereiter Vermieter, gute Kommunikation trotz unserer fehlenden Französisch Kenntnisse. Tolle Umgebung, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten. Haus liegt nahe an Landstraße, durch gut gedämmte Fenster aber nicht hörbar, auch auf der schönen Terrasse oder offenem Fenster störte das kaum.

Wir durften zwei Wochen in diesem wunderbaren Ferienhaus verbringen. Mit eigenen Händen haben die Vermieter Florentin und Virginie aus einer Ruine ein kleines Paradies erschaffen. Das Haus wurde im Juli fertig und wir waren erst die zweiten Mieter. Daher: Alles neu ! Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es fehlt wirklich an nichts. (Höchstens die Bedienungsanleitung für den Herd :-)). Die Vermieter wohnen wenige Meter entfernt, wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Haus befindet sich wenige hunderte Meter von der Küste entfernt und direkt an der Küstenstraße. Daher ist es die ideale Basis für Ausflüge, Die direkte Lage an der Straße haben wir nicht als störend empfunden. Auch mit der Gänsefamilie als Nachbarn haben wir schnell Freundschaft gesdchlossen. Man darf sie mit Brot füttern. Was man wissen sollte: Die Treppe ist etwas steil und vielleicht nicht ideal für Ältere. Fazit: Tolle Haus, tolle Vermieter, toller Urlaub, Wir kommen wieder !
