Staff ( especially Sara) were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was easy to get to and had plenty of parking on site. Short walk to riverfront restaurants and a nice walk to all of the historic sites. Absolutely fabulous breakfast and a modern/ clean facility. We give this hotel an 11 out of 10 - it was WONDERFUL

The staff and breakfast buffet were wonderful. A short walk to the river and lovely scenery all around. It was nice having a balcony off the room.

The staff were very friendly. The room was a good size and clean. The restaurant was delicious!

The proprietor is also the chef and a world class one. He was extremely accommodating in getting us into our rooms early. The evening three course menu was so good that we took the beef for our lunch when we left. Great stay

We booked a room for 1 night as our son's wedding reception was held at the hotel. When we arrived, we were met by very attentive wait staff. We enjoyed a wonderful light lunch with the wedding party, then checked into the room. What a wonderful, quaint, beautiful, comfortable room! The hotel was very quiet. Interesting, clean, modernized features with old charm. It was a delightful experience. I wish I could have stayed even longer. I'll plan to return for another time to explore the Mosel River area.

Beautiful property. Quiet but close to everything.

This hotel is on the Moselle River - outside the city center. We had a rental car, so no problem to drive into town for sightseeing as there is plenty of parking in town. Hotel staff was very, very accommodating and helpful. Room was spacious & clean. We stayed an extra night we liked it so much!

First off this hotel was great. We had stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. The hotel staff were so friendly, nice, and welcoming. They all spoke English which made it very easy to ask questions or order food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was all delicious and the scenery around the hotel is so peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were clean, beds comfy, house keeping was great, and overall the property is very well kept. If you are traveling to Mertesdorf or trier I would recommend this...

It's unusual to have a hotel fit your exact needs. It's not fancy, just friendly and efficient. Convenient location. The front desk is not manned evenings, but that wasn't a major problem. If you don't need a full-service hotel, try this one.
