"I stayed at Tamarack Lodge for a work trip I had in Sun Valley. I had my dog with me so I appreciated their pet friendly policy. The hotel was cute, but dated. There was a small courtyard for communal use and a pet potty area, which was nice. I stayed in room 208 on the second floor. There was gross water that smelled like urine leaking up from the floor boards in the bathroom. When I went to take a shower, the tub immediately clogged upon turning the shower on so I could only take a quick shower. It still didn't drain the next day, so I let the staff know. I was only there for one night. The bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed in the room. However the coffee maker dispersed plastic in my cup when I ran a water cycle through it, so I opted to get a latte in town. The room was a bit overpriced for the value but staff was friendly. "

"Great place! Location was perfect - walk to town and mountain is very close. Shuttle is super convenient. Breakfast was a great! Hotub, pool, gym, and patio very nice. Loved the “living room” area downstairs- nice when you want to get out of the room and relax! "

"The place is in need of an update and some maintenance. Some carpet tack strips are exposed on stairs and in some corners. My son stepped on one and got his foot poked. Couches and carpets are stained. Shower bars are broke in some of the showers. Shower grout is really dirty, cracking, and falling out. But… it feels very pet friendly because of this, I wasn’t worried about my dog or kids messing anything up! Location is great for skiing. Felt very spacious. "

"Place was great. One thing I’d like to call out is the lighting. Most ski condos are a bit dark with very few lights, this place is beautifully lit with LED lighting.Pool was great, super short walk to the lift, beds were very comfortable. Two quick nits I’ll mention, but first 10/10, hope to stay there again.Man, many pots, but only one skillet and it needs to be replaced. Almostbought one to donate bc the one there we soaked for two days and still couldn’t get the scrambled eggs scrubbed out.Second is we were there during March madness, and that tv is too small for the size of the room. You are not doing family movie night on your stay.But those are two small nits, absolutely a fantastic rental. "

"Goods: You can't beat the location - easy walk in ski boots to a lodge and lift that takes you to the top of the mountain and you can ski down to that location too. Great parking in front or in an underground garage. Major complaints: Only bed is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs - stairs are steep and narrow without railing. Easy to fall down if sleepy and/or older; middle of night visits could be dangerous. Sink water temperature control is opposite of standards; i.e., default when turning on water is super hot and you have to wait for the cold to come through. Electric heat is drying and even when all heaters are turned off, the unit is still fairly warm - too warm for me when sleeping."
