"When we arrived there was poop sprayed all over the toilet. We immediately complained, and to their credit, they quickly cleaned it. The room was old, wallpaper peeling, but the beds appeared clean. Overall I was uncomfortable because in my head if they missed the toilet, what else was missed. They offered a newer room, but we decided to get a refund for our 2nd night and go elsewhere "

"Our room was considered a standard ocean view and it had no ocean view. It was in building 22 and since it was on the lower floor, the view was blocked by the casitas in front of it. So I recommend booking a premier ocean view or if you book the standard ocean view, make sure you are on the second level. Otherwise, the resort is lovely. The staff are very friendly. We enjoyed a morning guided coastal hike with Morgan and Christos and also found the falcon talk very interesting."

"There are not enough words to adequately express how happy we were with this rental! We booked this unit, along with a 1-bedroom unit in the same building, to accommodate our extended family for a trip to Redondo Beach/Torrance to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday with other family members.The host was exceptionally responsive, and even arranged for a personalized (and delicious) King's Hawaiian birthday cake to greet us upon arrival. The units were spotless, and equipped with more cooking utensils and spices than I've seen in any past rentals. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, and the motorized blinds and fans provided customized lighting and ventilation for every preference.The spacious kitchen and living area, along with the comfortable private outdoor patio, allowed family members to gather for memorable conversations and food Our 11-year-old granddaughter loved the variety of sports equipment. She loved challenging relatives to volleyball games on the beach.Having grown up in the area, we knew that Riviera Village and the nearby beaches would provide many entertainment and culinary options for our diverse family. It did not disappoint! We loved Riviera Mexican Grill, Good Stuff, Hennessey's Tavern, Salt and Pearl, and HT Grill. It was so wonderful to be able to easily walk to the beach or meals without the worry of finding parking. Walkable grocery store options include Trader Joe's (with a terrific staff) and Von's.We'd love to return! "

"What a beautiful escape! Our family rented two nearby units so that we could come together for a birthday celebration. Our adult daughter and her boyfriend resided in this unit which was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and perfectly sized for their needs which involved some remote work. Communication with Bic was always pleasant and helpful. The location adjacent to so many Riviera Village restaurants and shops was delightfully walkable. We highly recommend this unit and host! "
