"There were a few spot in the room that could of used some cleaning like the coffee cups and above the window with a bugs being collected in webs. However this is still one of the best little places Ive stayed at. Expedia shares that there are blow dryers in the bathroom but that is not the case and when I asked about the owner about it he apologized and let me know he would be having Expedia update that. The use of the games in the shed was nice, playing corn hole was fun and the kayaks were easy to use. No renting, just grab the paddles from the shed and grab a kayak. We will 100% be staying here again next time we are in the area."

"House was very clean throughout, all rooms and beds nice. The property was all very well kept and cared for, wonderful flowers, trees, and yard. In a great location on the lake with nice dock, lots of activities in the garage and games in the house for rainy days. Also, all of the three bathrooms very clean. I can’t think of one thing we would’ve needed that wasn’t available."

"We had a wonderful stay! This home was the perfect home base for all of our Up North excursions, and coming back to a beautiful spot right on Grand Lake each day was a bonus.The house was exceptionally clean—truly spotless. You could tell that attention was given to every detail, from the baseboards and windows to the ceilings, closets, and corners. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking and coffee, which we really appreciated.There were also so many thoughtful extras, including kayaks, a firepit with firewood provided, beautiful flower boxes, and hummingbird and bird feeders outside the main living area. We didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks or firepit, but it was nice having them available.Tony was wonderful to communicate with and very responsive whenever we had a question. You can tell a lot of care goes into this home and making guests feel comfortable. We would absolutely recommend staying here!-Brandon and Karrie S."

"Could not have asked for anything better!!! The house was great and the views were beautiful. The only thing you need to bring with you is food. Deb has thought of everything to help you have a wonderful, relaxing stress free vacation. She also answered all my questions asap. We went to Alpena for our daughter’s baby shower so we were busy the entire weekend and did not get to spend much time at this beautiful home but we will definitely be back and this is where we will stay!"

"Stayed for a week and had a great time. Very clean. Lots of nice extras. Hosts very nice and great with communication. Cottage is the small side but perfect for us with three people. Great deck & dock. Water was great but water shoes were helpful as it is a little rocky. Lots to do in the area with easy drives to Lake Huron, Alpena, Cheboygan, etc."

"You will need to bring your own WI-FI such as a mobile Hotspot if you want to watch anything other than DVDs. All of the outlets are 2 prong, no ground. Otherwise an excellent rustic cabin."

"The cabin was exceptional for our large family; four couples and one child. All of us felt like we had ample room to spread out. The lake frontage was wonderful with the lack of stairs and dock usage. It felt like a weekend escape up north and special memories with each other between boating, fishing, camp fires, grill outs, and games. We will be back!"

"Location and the lot on the point has beautiful lake view! Owner was very quick to respond (there was an issue but Mitch was right there during check-in to fix it the best he could). Overall layout is pretty good and it works for a nice time to enjoy the stay."
