"We had a good clean spacious room in the old house. The bathroom was bright and clean but we could have benefitted from a non slip mat in the shower/bath. The place is a little tired and could do with sprucing up but the grounds and antiquity of the place made up for that. The leisure centre pool area was too hot and there was no way to cool down after a sauna as the showers were a fixed temperature. The bar and restaurant were good for the price with a reasonable choice of standard dishes. Overall good value for money but could be a lot better."
"Beautiful surroundings immaculately clean all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The North wing deluxe with balcony rooms are exceptional good mix of evening entertainment with top class acts and shows loved the whole 3 night stay."
