"Really lovely and welcoming place, vaguely on the outskirts of town so it was far enough removed from busy areas and touristy bits by the beach to be spot on for me on my work trip but I suspect it was closed enough to all that if you were a tourist. Great room, very comfortable, tasty biscuits and complimentary bottled water on the dresser. Breakfast was really good. Staff were all very attentive, friendly and welcoming. "

"Mr and Mrs Weaver were amazing, the house and the grounds beautiful. We had family come visit and the conservator was the most bright an airy room for all 8 of us. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for our wheelchair user daughter, we managed to get her up and down the stairs for bathing. Full of charm and old world feels, we would recommend."

"My daughter, granddaughter's, their dog and myself , had a lovely stay. Communication with host and check in was good. Lodge was as advertised. Marina was just a 2 min walk and pub/restaurant next to marina was good. Would definitely book here again Also recommended to a friend "
