A fascinating and enjoyable boutique hotel. It truly captures the feel of an early 1900s hotel but with modern amenities. Pictures you see in reviews are real - that’s what it looks like. Overall - a unique way to enjoy a rural historical West Texas town and region.

Older property and quirky but thoroughly enjoyed the stay. ( I was concerned when I saw that the building was only 2 blocks from a railroad crossing. But as it turns out, I barely noticed the horns of the locomotives.) we will stay there again.

Our second stay here, and we enjoyed it very much. Yes, trains do go by in the night, however for me it just sounds pleasant to hear them in the distance. The hotel feels very homey to me.

So much better than a chain hotel

I arrived late in the evening after making a last minute reservation. The hotel owners were on vacation so aan named Aaron was minding the hotel. Aaron was delightfully friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is quite charming and beautifully decorated. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great History - Uncomfortable Stay

We love the history of The Garza Hotel, but we were not happy with our overall stay. We booked the Bordeaux Suite looking for a romantic getaway. The bed was uncomfortable and old, the shower had no water pressure and the room does not have control of it own temperature. We slept on top of the sheets with the fan going and still sweated through the night. We were simply disappointed in our stay.

We have stayed here twice and will be staying here everytime we visit our daughter. The owners are very nice. The hotwl might be 100 yrs old, but it is beautiful, the bathrooms are up to date, and the breakfast is awesome.
