Very well located hotel with super helpful staff at a reosanble price. Only little downside was that the garage for parking was full. But you can park on the streets close by.

Wonderful experience at the hotel….comfy, friendly & beautiful. Breakfast had a wide selection of tasty food in a lovely room. The connecting pub was also excellent. The staff & food were very good. Would go there again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful hotel

A very nice and beautiful hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast. The location was also really good. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing that bothered was our broken shower but everything else was good.

The staff were helpful the parking to hotel walk is a bit of a difficulty but considering it is centre of town can understand it but with bags was difficult. The breakfast options were good

The staff were great and very helpful. My bedroom was nice and overlooked the sqaure. Breakfast was pleasant, so too was the dinner. The adjoining pub had a great feel to it, like a traditional UK pub.

The property is nice overall. Breakfast excellent. It is a bit tired in places - looking outside to the balcony you see the rusty railing. Views are great from the top floor. Bathroom is nice - one of the best. Overall a great place to stay.

The hotel is beautiful. Classic early 1900’s architecture and nicely restored interior. Our room was large, well appointed and bright with floor to ceiling windows. The breakfast in the high ceilinged stunning ballroom with views of the bay was plentiful and well prepared. The staff was always helpful and professional. This is an excellent hotel

Good base to explore Lulea.

We were lucky enough to have an upgrade to a suite available. This was definitely worth the extra payment. Our suite was very spacious with a lovely comfortable bed, a large bathroom and nice city views. Being at the end of the corridor it was also very quiet so we weren’t troubled with any noise from other guests. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and plenty of everything The only thing that we noticed in all the hotels that we stayed in during our month long road trip around Sweden was eggs! Everywhere we had hard and soft boiled or scrambled ( these were some sort of powdered egg mixed with water or milk, but not the best ) Come on Sweden - proper scrambled, poached, fried or even eggs Benedict, it can’t be that hard. The Bishops arms next door was nice for a quick drink and trying hard to be like an English pub.

Family break.

Nice rooms but very noisy with the ventilation system in the top floor, could not have the window open despite the heat because it was so loud. Unfortunately this caused obvious sleep issues. However the staff were understanding and were aware of the issue and we were relocated the 3rd night of our stay. Rooms were big, comfortable but lacking in cleaning here and there, bathroom was getting to the point of dirty. The internet connection was very good. Breakfast was good, although the warm selection was not that great. The cold buffet was very good, good choice of cereal,breads,fruits and sweet cakes were excellent. So overall the breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly, helpful and problem solving.

The breakfast is very good, with various choices. However, the room comfort is not good, the temperature is a bit cold during the night so we caught cold... the last day, when we finish breakfast, we headed to the room for packing and check out. It was even not at 10 a.m. and the room card did not work at all. We went to reception to explain and request to update the card, the receptionist with blond hair, her attitude was not good. The check out time is 11 a.m. so it should not have this sort of incident, it is the hotel's responsibility. Instead of giving apologies from hotel, we have got limit blamed... where is the service ? Disappointed... And another point a bit confused, according to hotel's receipt, the price is cheaper of 10% than hotel.com charged me during booking. Is it normal?
