"We were initially put in a room that was dusty and had a (small) mouse. But after a sleepless night we were moved to the Pinnacles building which was amazing! Staff was very responsive to our needs and did everything they could once we alerted them to the problem. One thing to note is the we were there during a heat wave and not all rooms are air conditioned- we had no idea. So if that is important to you, you may want to reach out and inquire about this prior to booking. Food at the restaurant and drinks at the tap house were great."

"Good solid hotel room for those planning a kayak weekend trip with Shenandoah River Outfitters. Showers had good pressure, which helps after a long day on the river. Internet was solid. For us, the AC wasn't working, but we decided to endure it as we didn't want to repack everything after we had set up already in the room. Beds were comfortable, too. Solid place to put your head down."

"Room was clean and spacious as was the bathroom. The ceiling fan worked well and even in summer heat it was very cool for sleeping. Just behind the lodge is a short hike to a gorgeous overlook. The food at the restaurant on site was delicious and all staff were friendly and competent. I'll return for sure!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! The property is serene and quiet—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Everything was spotless when we arrived, and the cabin was well-maintained throughout. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and grill, which made our evenings even more enjoyable. The beds were comfortable, making it easy to get a great night's sleep. Plus, the location is ideal—just a short drive to all the amenities and attractions in town. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!"

"Location to Skyline Drive entrance excellent. Friendly staff. Surprisingly roomy. Excellent shower. Plenty of towels. Updated but kept charm. Parked right in front of room door. Great price. Seats out front of room and nice field out back. Rainbow and lovely sunset were a bonus. "

"The home was perfect for our quick family getaway. It was just as pictured, very clean, and had everything we needed. I think our favorite part of the whole trip was hanging out in the backyard on our last night - the big maple tree provided so much shade in the hot afternoon and the string lights were a nice touch while we made s'mores in the firepit at night. There's a great paved and divided pedestrian trail across the street that was perfect for taking the dog out for a walk in the morning and would be great for little ones too. Also, the hosts were excellent communicators. We would absolutely stay there again!"
