"It's all about location. It's best to be in the mountains at sunrise and sunset. They have improved a few rooms. The beds are comfortable and pillows too. Place is clean and maintained. The grounds are very nice but.....I guess the park department doesn't care about the view. Don't ask for a room with a view because they only have 2 or 3. They trees have grown so much they have no view of the valley. Total shame. The price is so much better from Expedia.....the park service site wants...

"This hotel is pretty much perfect. Close enough to the highway to be convenient, but far enough that there is no traffic noise. Lots of restaurants nearby. We ordered take out pizza from Little Italy at the recommendation of Brandon at the front desk. The restaurant is literally around the corner from the hotel in a strip mall at the next light. Excellent pizza and staff was really nice. Nice to wind down in our room with adult beverage and wonderful pizza after a long day on the road. Oh,...

"Everything about this facility seems like a more expensive place - business center, exercise room, full breakfast, bright, modern color scheme. Our room was spacious, included microwave, fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, closet. There are extra touches like cookies at the check-in counter, popcorn in the afternoon lobby. The motel is in the midst of other motels, close to a zillion restaurants. Even Costco is only a few blocks away. A great stay for a modest price."

In the morning, we went for breakfast around 9:30 AM, but there was hardly anything left available. The staff was polite and did try to help, but the room...
