"We were driving cross country and made the Inn and Tavern at Meander one of our stops. They were so accommodating with our late check in and providing us with a picnic dinner basket, even though it was after hours. We stayed to enjoy breakfast and had some of the best dishes - the French toast and eggs Benedict. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we will be back! "

"Loved the setting in a small town within 30 minutes of Old Rag Mountain (popular hiking spot). The hosts were so helpful with info on dining options in the area and in towns within 10 minutes drive. In this very town, there are restaurants within a few short blocks, including a delicious bakery/coffee shop. Accommodations were perfect. "Very pet friendly, which is important to us, given that we have two dogs. Alan Webb, the host, has a cockatoo, which the dogs loved and which we loved also. Good proximity to the Skyline Drive, Charlottesville, and the White Oak Canyon trail in the Shenandoah National Park.
